    Amazing projector!
I’ve been using the Dangbei Atom Laser Projector for a few weeks now and I’m very impressed. I’m coming from those budget LED projectors and this is my first laser unit. Some pros and cons:Pros:+ Surprisingly small form factor+ Crisp, sharp 1080p image thanks to built-in auto-focus+ Buttons on remote give quick access to focus adjusting settings+ Internal fan isn’t too noisy+ Handles color and contrast better than budget projectors+ Picture is quite bright and viewable even in some reasonable ambient light+ Google TV apps and features work perfectly once connected+ Usually has a coupon you can use to lower the priceCons:- Since it’s using DLP tech you will see a kind of “rainbow effect” in your vision- Speakers are kind of weak, but no biggie if you’ve got external audio means- Only one HDMI port- Switching inputs (Home screen to HDMI) seems like it takes too many actionsOverall, this is a fantastic projector and it was a great upgrade

Mighty Mouse of sub $1000 bang for the buck projectors
I’m not a projector expert but I have owned a few projectors throughout the years. My first projector was a Optoma 720 dlp. It weighed nearly 8 lbs and had manual focus and no keystone correction. It took FOREVER to get it just right. God forbid if someone moved it. But in those days, you would be wise to stick with the big names like Sony, Optoma, BenQ, Epson. Nowadays, these newer brands are breaking barriers. This is my second Dangbei brand projector. I purchased a Dangbei Mars 1080p last year and have enjoyed it. Now I am in love with this Dangbei Atom projector. lightweight about 3 lbs and compact about the size of a tissue box this thing packs a visual punch. 1080p is realistically all most people need as most streaming services still tend to stream in 1080p, great sharpness, the 1200 max lumens is bright — decent daytime viewing and obviously even better at night with lights off movie watching ( my supplied sample pic was 100″ and it still looked fantastic) . I love the remote control because I’m used to amazon firesticks and it is same design. I love the fact it comes loaded with Netflix, Amazon, and Google/Youtube. This means no need to buy a separate firestick. Just connect to wifi and you have unlimited content. This was also the first projector that I did not have to read the manual to set up and use. Everything is intuitive and simple. It has autofocus and keystone correction (auto works ‘okay’ but you WILL need to manually tune for best picture) . And the sound…not bad. Definitely useable as a standalone if you don’t have exterior speakers….the built in speakers are fine. One thing to note…some online reviews will show a tilt stand. The stand does not come with this projector (small bummer). So you have to make due –I put it on a box to elevate it. Positioning is very flexible due to keystone correction and the ability to shift the picture directionally so you many options on placement. What I would have liked to see: I wish it was cordless. That would have been awesome if it had a internal battery. I also would have loved to see the power brick inside the unit instead of outside but obviously that would increase the weight and size of the already compact footprint. Lastly I would love the autofocus and auto keystone to work better–it gets it close but you still need to manually fine tune to get it perfect. Overall impressions is that I am amazed at how far along Projectors have come. This thing is slimmer than a box of tissues, lightweight, tons of media and wifi built in, easy to use and set up, 5 stars.

    Impressive Performance and Versatility
I’ve been using the Dangbei Atom projector for about a week now, and I’m quite impressed with its performance. The image quality is excellent, with vibrant colors and a good contrast ratio. Compared to other projectors I’ve used, the difference is noticeable – this laser projector truly stands out. One of the standout features is how quietly it operates, making it perfect for my bedroom as a secondary projector. I’ve been projecting directly onto a wall with great results, though I suspect it would be even better on a proper screen. The built-in Android TV is a useful addition, although I personally prefer the speed and user interface of my Fire TV stick. Nonetheless, it’s a valuable feature, especially for those who don’t already have a streaming device. Portability is another big plus. This projector is incredibly lightweight, making it ideal for taking on road trips or using as a secondary projector in different rooms. Sound quality is surprisingly good, and I love the option to use the speakers as Bluetooth speakers when needed. Setup was a breeze, and I appreciated the precision of the auto focus and decent keystone correction.Regarding size, I was able to achieve a sizable 155-inch image from about 13 feet away, which was more than adequate for my needs. Additionally, the brightness was more than adequate even in light ambient light, and even better in a semi-dark environment. While I do have a Dangbei Mars 4K projector in my living room, I can confidently say that the image quality of the Atom projector is quite impressive. While there may be subtle differences when compared to a 4K laser projector, they are minimal and certainly not a deal-breaker. Lastly, I’ve had positive experiences with Dangbei’s customer care in the past, which gives me confidence in the product’s reliability and support in case of any future issues. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend the Dangbei Atom projector to anyone in the market for a high-quality, versatile projector.

I got OLED picture quality for a fraction of a cost of a big OLED TV. Plus this projector is truly portable you can take it with you anywhere. It’s a complete game changer. Literally movie theater quality at your pocket. It makes my life way better. Even during a day with lights on the picture quality is awesome. It is just pure joy. Colors are superb. Autofocus works great. Sound is good too, you can watch movies without any external speakers. Overall well deserved honest 5/5. It’s my best purchase in the last 10 years.

This is, by far, the best portable projector I’ve bought/tested. I was looking for a tv screen, but instead I found this little folk! It has astonishing picture quality, displaying true Full-HD, with HDR10, regardless the time of the day (even at daylight, but, of course, the darker the room, the better), as well as it supports high fps (I’ve tested 60fps videos and they do look smooth). I also like the fact that it still supports Active 3D (cause I still have a collection of 3D Blu-ray movies). On the other hand, I like the way it automatically adjusts to the surface/screen you want to project, as well as it runs Google TV natively, then it allows you to install apps like Disney+, Netflix or Amazon Prime Video (they are also factory installed). Lucky me, I purchased this during Black Friday, cause it actually costed me the same as a 65in screen, but with this guy I can project on a wall giving me exactly a 150in (it still can project a larger scale: 180in, but 100in is recommended and enough). The only “con” is that it doesn’t support 4K or larger display formats, but you won’t really need it, as it natively displays 1920×1080 with great accuracy and with high contrast and it also blends somehow the pixels, so you won’t even notice them. You can still watch 4k, but after scalling it to 1920×1080, with the means of a computer using HDMI. Finally it has Bluetooth, which you can use to sync your headphones, which will also reproduce sound with great quality, as well as by the mean of a jack 3.5mm. I used my Bose AE2 headphones connected straight with the jack 3.5 as well as with a Bluetooth receiver and the audio was great both ways (the wired one was of course better). I also tested it with my Sony WC-500, with great sound quality too! The only way I haven’t tested it yet is with a home-theater (it supports also eArc through HDMI) but I’m sure it will work great either!
