My spouse absolutely loves her Vitamix blender, but I don’t. It runs loud, and long, I have to leave the vicinity when she uses it because it is so annoyingly noisy and she lets it run forever. I mean, who needs a blender that can heat up soup to boiling just by spinning its blades?This commercial grade smoothie blender, however, I love. It doesn’t need to run very long because it does such an effective job of chopping, grinding, and homogenizing so fast! Plus, it has a sound-deadening cover that makes it so much more polite than the growling angry Vitamix.And fast! I made orange “juice” according to the recipe in the included manual, but it was really an orange smoothie that whipped up in about 40 seconds, using the preset P4 button. Nice and foamy! I drank some right away, then stored the rest in the fridge. Over 8 hours later the juice still had not separated from the foamy part hardly at all. And it was just as tasty as when it was freshly made.I haven’t been much of a smoothie guy in the past, but this blender has changed my opinion. I will definitely be enjoying more smoothies in the future, because they are so good, quick, and easy to make with this machine. But no spinach smoothies. Yuck.
