Easy for older people that use reading glasses
Phone calculators work. But you often need basic calculator while using my phone at the same time. The large buttons and large display make it much easier to use. Smaller calculators do not work well for me as I have gotten older. This one works great for me!

The calculator is well lit, and the numbers are large to read. The keys are also well marked and easy to read. From what I can tell so far the calculations are accurate. Would recommend.

This is a review of the following item: “Desktop Calculator 12 Digit with Large LCD Display and Sensitive Button, Solar and Battery Dual Power, Standard Function for Office, Home, School, CD-2786 (Blue)”It’s exceedingly rare that I upload a negative customer review for any product which I purchase on Amazon.ca. However, I felt “ethically” compelled to do so in this particular instance.This calculator was purchased for my own use in the (finance) company where I work. The cost was fully covered by my employer. After two months of regular daily use, calculator’s performance remains acceptable.The (blue) calculator received from Amazon was a “Catiga Two-Power Calculator” Model CD-2786-12, which – of course – was manufactured in China. The Amazon delivery was notably swift. The calculator is as advertised (e.g., large tilted LCD display screen, large buttons, etc.) and seems to work properly and charges both quickly and efficiently using the small integrated solar cells. Though, it’s certainly not a high-quality product – with a flimsy plastic housing and buttons.To my utter bewilderment, enclosed in the package upon arrival was a small invoice specifying a total dollar value of $9.99. Yet, as advertised on Amazon at the time, I was charged $36.81, plus tax.Let me be abundantly clear, this calculator is NOT worth the advertised price. If you search on the websites of other Canadian vendors, such as Staples, BestBuy, Walmart, etc., you will quickly discover better products at a FRACTION of the price charged by this seller on Amazon. Caveat emptor!
