    Works great!
Works great. Just replacing my old printer and this one does all I’ll need. Used it a couple times allready and no issues at all.

Don’t buy if you’re in the US unless you want to be frustrated.
This printer provided me with nothing but trouble straight out of the box. I spent hours trying to get it to connect to my computer and had no luck whatsoever. I kept getting an error message when I was installing and trying to run the driver. It would connect to my phone but not the computer. I even tried to connect it under the Canadian settings and found nothing but frustration. The printer is a Canadian model too and I found that out when searching for the correct software for the installation. I believe the issue was caused by this but I could not get it to work and had to send it back. I’m no slouch with technology either and no amount of troubleshooting could fix this.

    Okay…..not great
First of all, you’ll need to go the Cannon Canada website to get some of the ‘stuff’ you need to complete the set up. I could not find this model on the USA Cannon website. As far as performance is concerned, the paper feed is wonky and gets jammed frequently. Given the price, it’s an okay choice. I had an IT pro with over 20 years experience set this up. His opinion was basically ‘meh’….its okay.

Doesn’t work known sensor issues from canon
First time using it after updating and setup and the error code 1240 won’t go away.Tried power cycling, updating, unplugging, removing feed tray, opening the front piece all the way open, pulling out feed tray all the way, loading from the bottom feeder, back feeder, connecting to Lan, wifi, and phone… error code won’t go away. Being forced to return this or replace it for more than I paid for it.

    Not an 11×17 printer
So, this is advertised as being an 11×17 capable printer, however, the on i received is in no way shape or form capable of printing in 11×17. It will be returned.

    Canadian printer model
Printer model TR7620a said nothing about being a Canadian model, not eligible for warranty registration in the U.S. Returned the printer and ordered a U.S. model number.

This printer I’ll recommend to everyone as it prints fast and print quality is awesome. It’s not noisy at all and I printed a pic from my phone and the color accuracy is on point. It’s very easy to use and functions great. Also the wireless connectivity is proper

I bought this printer for photo printing and it does an excellent job. Crisp clear good colours on every print. So I’m happy about that.Other things I liked was the price–$99 CDN–and the fast delivery–4 days to my little Gulf Island. The set up was fairly easy, especially the wifi, no mucking about with serial numbers or passwords etc. Copying, scanning, printing and writing work well–when the cassette (the front paper tray) is working. See below. But it has its downsides. You can only print photos from the back paper feeder, not the front, something that is not explained in the manual, and as for the manual…well it’s hopeless, more like a kid’s colouring book, not a clear well explained list arranged by topic. Infuriating. Particularly because some features do not work on Macs even though the manual says they do. For instance the automatic off/off feature only works on Windows even though the manual gives detailed instructions for this feature for Mac which are completely wrong. It took emails to customer service to find this out. There are also some helpful videos on Youtube to get it up and runningSome of the other features don’t work on Mac either like the Easy Print app.MY biggest problem has been the front-loading paper tray aka the cassette. It is very difficult to seat correctly and if it isn’t you can’t do anything with the printer. You get error message #1871 saying the cassette is not loaded properly. Many fruitless efforts including shoving it in very forcibly did not remove that message. Having to push it in so hard concerns me. The printer is made of light plastic and I fear that something will break. I am still waiting to hear from customer service about that.(I did manage to solve it by unplugging the printer for an hour, removing the cassette, taking out the paper turning it over and reloading it. I don’t know whether this was luck or magic.)Customer service is OK when you figure out how to send them an email but you have to thru a maze of options to find it. There seems to be no way to phone them even tho their cs pages have many photos of smiling people answering their phones! But the answer their emails eventually but sometimes missing the point of the question. And the chat is useless,I won’t be using the plain paper-only cassette much as I have an old Brother printer that now only prints black & white. I’ll keep using it until it runs out of ink.So in summary it’s a very good photo printer and the B&W print is good. Photo printing is a bit slow. But as it does excellent photos I can live with its shortcomings. And the price is right! You can’t get perfection for $99…
