I got this printer new, , G3260this is like my 15th printer in 28 years.I serviced commercial printers for years too. (retired, me as PC tech)Must say best printer I’ve ever seen for sure this price point !No more cartridge hostage games. wow, refreshing. ,<<< no words can say how great this is... ever...The only bad reviews are folks that do no understand wifi.(it's okay, it is wifi not you.)if you are that person use the USB port. (works in seconds.)<< zero magic.wifi is RADIO and as such fails for vast reasons to fail. (I can fix any wifi made but most folks fail here)WiFi has vast ways to fail, even not knowing your credentials. (too far from router, or it is malfing or lots more ,full stop x)Pro1:The online PDF manual (saved) is 430pages long. Nice ! Job there. (with error codes explained)Cost per page, (unbeatable)The 4 tank ink site is $22, my last printer (Horse Pucky?) is $100 + and lies about ink low when not. Canon G3260 All-in-One Printer: The 7-page setup guide takes you through the steps to remove shipping tape, install the print heads and add ink. Easy, only a few pages. Ink went into the tanks with no issues and no splashing. It came with 3 black and 3 color bottles. Use one ink bottle per tank. That left two black bottles for later.This is the first time I bought a printer with ink tanks. The ink cost seems very reasonable. Printer heads seem about the price I was paying for ink cartridges that had heads in the cartridges. Will see how long the print heads last and if the method of getting ink to the heads works well.The next step was to get it connected to a smart phone (haven’t done) or home computer. For the computer, instructions said to type in https://ij.start.canon — you select your model, G3260 in my case, and it downloaded the G3060 series drivers (not G3260). Next, run the downloaded files and follow the steps on the screen. Sounds easy but it didn’t work. The software didn’t find the printer. Disclaimer: I am running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit with all updates. So, next I went to the printer’s display and the choices didn’t work for me. I needed to try a few more to get the correct choice to use the WPS button on the router. So, I plugged in a USB cable directly to the computer. I wanted the scanner to work. I tried that about three times from the printer and from the computer. After rebooting two or three times (my decision to reboot) the scanner worked by using the Canon UScan Utility and using the Auto button from my computer got it to scan a document to my computer. In the end I went to YouTube to see how to get it on WIFI via WPS router button — just had to find the correct printer menu item.

Day 1 – Easy Setup – Wi-Fi connect OK- Good Print Quality- POOR screen / Menu navigation
So far 50/50. Enough negative reviews to have me concerned, but I have used Canon printers before and have been happy, so I took a chance. A couple misses on the setup instructions, e.g. some of the orange tape that needed to be removed were not identified. The material quality is pretty low, very thin flimsy plastic on pieces that will get used, e.g. print refill caps. paper adjustment levers. Hopefully this will not be an issue downstream. Set up WiFi on Windows 11 and 10 computers, no issues. On Android, after many attempts I had to disconnect my dedicated IP VPN to get this to work. A lot of complaints about the ity-bity low quality screen. Have to agree with all the complaints, it is a real pain in the rear to use this to set things like Wi-Fi passwords. Hard to read, really cumbersome to use. The lack of touch screen and intuitive menu navigation is a real negative.

Worth the money!
First I want to say that I’ve never had a printer that prints as beautifully as this does I truly love the quality but note that you need to download the canon app for the printer and print through there because if you don’t your prints will not turn out as beautiful as they can big difference in quality you really need to use the app. I bought this printer a couple of years ago and have had no complaints until now but I am having issues right now because the printers not wanting to load the paper in the back and I’ve done all of the cleaning this night and it’s not working so basically I have to help feed each paper into it I’m gonna take it and get it repaired because it’s worth the money to get it fixed because it’s such a great quality print that you get the card that I have in the picture I printed everything you see on this printer so you can see it’s totally worth it to get it fixed And if I end up having to get a new one I will definitely be purchasing the same printer again.

Es perfecto por lo que la necesito. Tengo una pequeña empresa y me ayuda con todos mis proyectos. Aun me falta probar una variedad más grande de papel y ver como le va con el tiempo. Es muy muy facil de instalar al contrario de lo que dice algunas revistas. Vivo en México y la instale en menos de 10 minutos.
