Make fewer trips to the hardware store and spend more time on your project. You know that getting what you need the first time at the home improvement center saves you time, money and frustration. Using the Home ProjectCalc can help you in each of those areas. By calculating your material requirements, you ensure you get everything you need and can spend time building and not shopping. It simplifies dimensional math and eliminates “fraction frustration. ” Not dealing with material overages or shortages and not breaking your budget cuts down on your frustration and helps you achieve professional results you can be proud to show your friends and family.
ENTER DIMENSIONS JUST LIKE YOU SAY THEM directly in feet, inches, building fractions, decimals, yards and meters, including square areas and cubic volumes; one key instantly converts your measurements into all standard Imperial or metric math dimensions that work best for you and the project you are working on
DEDICATED BUILDING FUNCTION KEYS make determining your project needs easy; just input project measurements, select material type like wallpaper, paint or tile; then calculate the quantity needed and total costs to avoid nasty surprises at the homecenter checkout
NEVER BUY TOO MUCH OR TOO LITTLE material ever again! It helps you estimate material quantities and costs for your projects simplifying your home improvement and decorating jobs, It also cuts down on the number of trips to the hardware store
GET ONLY THE PAINT YOU NEED to ensure you finish the job and don’t find yourself with a half-painted room at night with a wet paint roller, don’t get more paint then you need so you are storing excess paint trying to figure out how to dispose of it
11 BUILT-IN TILE SIZES make it easy to estimate the quantity needed to complete your project; simply calculate your square footage, then determine the tile required based on tile size and compare tile usage and costs by size. Comes complete with hard cover, easy-to-follow user’s guide, long-life battery and 1-year

Inch-foot calculator with solar. Works great.
I love my inch-foot calculator. I am a designer in an architectural office and use mine all the time. Easy to add inches plus feet and also easy to convert back and forth.

    Great Calculator for the Garage
I’m not a professional in the trades; however, this is a great tool for both woodworking and carpentry projects. I’ve had an older model that I bought around 15 years ago. This one is very similar. Quality appears to be of high quality. This is an excellent value, if you need this kind of capability. Highly recommend.

    Great for ship modelers
I build model ships from scratch and I often need to convert full-size dimensions to model-size dimensions and vice versa. I have a special purpose scaling calculator that I bought years ago for this purpose but I wanted a backup just in case it ever dies on me because that one is no longer made. It’s very easy to enter feet and inches and is done exactly the way I do it on my scaling calculator.Offset tables on plans are typically shown in feet.inches. eight-inches. So a figure of 4.6.5 means 4 feet, 6 inches, and 5/8 inches. To enter that on the calculator, just enter 4 then Feet then 6 then Inch then 5 slash (/) 8. If you’re working at a scale of 3/8″=1′, simply divide by 32 and you’ve got your scale measurement – 1-45/64″. Piece of cake. The calculator lets you set the fractional resolution to 1/2″, 1/4″, 1/8″,1/16″, 1/32″, and 1/64″ (Default setting when you get the calculator is 1/16″) The resolution remains where you set it even after powering off the calculator but it’s very easy to change if you need a different resolution. Instructions are on page 6 of the booklet. There is a pocket in the case for storage of the instruction booklet. My one minor complaint is that it will not convert inches to millimeters or centimeters. Other calculators made by this company will do that, but they are more expensive. Of course, you can always multiply the metric conversion by 100 to get cm or by 1000 to get mm. For example, if you convert 1 foot 3 inches to meters, you’ll get .381 meters. That’s 38.1 cm or 381 mm. And, of course, divide your metric measurement to get cm or mm then convert to inches. Not that difficult – just a bit less convenient. But for the price, this can’t be beat for modelers needing to do scale conversions! The calculator just arrived today, so I can’t speak to its longevity.

This calculator is great for basic unit conversion for building and contracting. I bought this product from Fastmedia ship USA and the updates on the delivery was not correct. I reached out to the seller and they were fairly responsive and detailed and helped with my enquiries. Overall it has been a positive experience with Fastmedia ship USA.

I bought this calculator to convert non-readable fraction numbers to practical ones. That works fine. One star minus because using it as a regular simple calculator is not convenient.
