Good little work horse
Good little work horse. Only downside is it does not have a paper feed for envelopes. You need to remove the paper, adjust the guides in the drawer, load it, close it, and put the paper stack back when finished. Other than that, it is excellent.

Do not buy
It gets two stars, because when it works, it’s ok. But it goes into a sleep function that means you have to unplug it and let it restart so you can copy something. And about three quarters of the time when I want to scan, I have to restart my computer to do it. There have been a few occasions when that didn’t work and I actually had to reinstall the software. In short, if it worked the way it should, it would be a decent printer. But having to troubleshoot it this often is maddening. (By the way, these are known issues with the machine. There are plenty of webpages that talk about how to fix the problems, temporarily at least.) This one is a hard pass.

NO WARRANTY
I bought a Brother MFC-L2700DW Laser Multifunction Printer back in September 2021 and my printer stopped working. It kept going back to self-diagnostic testing no matter how many times I restarted/rebooted it.I called brother to get a new one under warranty and I was told that Max Tech Depot was not an authorized Brother dealer and that it voided my warranty. What a bunch of crap!!!!

Losing the Wi-Fi signal is very annoying.
I’ve had this printer for at least a year now. I am satisfied with it, generally. The display it’s very small i’m not easy to read. Setting up the Wi-Fi is not easy to do. It keeps losing the Wi-Fi signal, and setting it up again it’s not easy. I have purchased the USB cable, and a whole that will take care of this problem. I like it because the ink cartridge is easy to install and lasts a long time, and not as expensive as my previous printers. The training quality is good.

Works well
I have used this home printer for several years, and it works ok for the money. The print quality is below my other Brother printers, but acceptable. The toner cartridges seem to empty more quickly than advertised, and the drum unit needs replacing more frequently than advertised. But I suppose this is the case with most printers . . .
