Nice looking.
This is a great small oven. I do have the Breville Mini smart oven, and I’ve had it since 2017. it still works and still looks good, but it is small and kind of out dated. I wanted the Air fryer part too. So, I really needed black so, I choose this model. It is a little bit big on my counter because I don’t have a lot of room on one side. But it still looks nice. it has nice functions you can pick to cook from. I tried about 5 other ovens but finally decided this was the best. The quality of a Breville is really good. I hope this last me a long time. The UPS store will be glad to not have to see me for a while. lol Definitely worth the money.

Can’t go without it
This is my third Breville oven. The last one was the air fryer pro which I used daily for 5 years. The door spring went and then the oven started turning off after 15 minutes no matter how I set it. So, considering the price tag of Brevilles I started researching other brands. In the end, I decided on the smart oven air fryer. The pro is terrific but it is massive and heavy. This modelIs a little smaller, not as heavy and it looks very nice on the counter without taking up too much space. Since I use it mostly for bake, toast and broil, sometimes air fry, it does just about everything I need. I purchased the black and I think it’s a nice change from stainless everything.I am comparing this to the Air Fryer Pro. So the only cons for me on this model are:-Only one rack so only one batch at a time.-No dehydrate functionJust like the other Breville ovens, this is well built, the outside does not get as hot as some of the other popular brands, so it seems well insulated. Also, I noticed in reviews of some other brands that the first few uses the oven gives off a bad odor. The Breville does NOT. I wonder what’s in those others that they need to burn off??As others said, if you do a lot of air frying you might want a dedicated air fryer. This oven does a good job but my sweet potato fries could have been a bit crispier.The oven is easy to clean, easy to move if you must, and you don’t need a PHD to figure out how to use it.I do miss the little bit of extra cooking space and extra racks and the ability to put in more than one item at a time. I never used the dehydrate function on my other oven.Overall, this is a fantastic oven for making meals for 1-4/5 people. And it looks good!

Slow pre-heat
This Breville smart oven air fryer is a phenomenal cooking tool. We love the look and it is so simple to operate. The lighted display is invaluable and the interior light is bright. We like how the rack slides out when we open the door due to the magnets on the inside of the door – clever! It cooks evenly and extremely capably. There are so many functions that there is no excuse not to use it almost exclusively, independently of the range. The only complaint we have is that it takes a long time to preheat. Otherwise, we love it.

So much better than the Cuisinart TOA-70
We purchased this oven to replace the Cuisinart TOA-70 we returned because it had digital controls vs the Cuisinart’s manual control. It is a much better oven in that it lets you know when it’s preheated and starts the timer once its preheated. Both features the TOA70 lacks. You can also turn off the timer vs the TOA70’s manual timer which must run itself out. In terms of performance the Breville has been fantastic. Makes perfect toast with easy to adjust setting for darkness and # of slices of bread. The air fryer works great; we have done vegetables and home made sweet potato fries. Same with the baking and roasting. Have also made homemade pizza with the included pizza pan. I was amazed how well it browned without using a pizza stone.

Great appliance
So far, I am loving my new Breville. There are a couple of minor things that annoy me, though. First, the oven light only stays on for 30 seconds. Why can’t I keep it on continuously? Second, the timer starts counting down automatically as soon as pre-heating is complete. I may not hear the alert or may not be able to put my food in right away. I wish the timer countdown would hold off until the door opens and closes.

I love, love this oven! I only use my regular oven for turkey and large batches of cookies. I use this oven for making everything from toast to lasagna to pies.

This is the toaster oven/air fryer combo of my dreams. It’s a great size for a single person. It has a ton of settings. I got it in blue and it looks great. My previous Breville lasted 7 years and survived 2 moves, so I’m anticipating a long time with this one.

Easy to use
Replaced panasonic toaster over with Breville after being motivated by positive results from cooking with it for the first time on another similar machine. The toaster oven quickly cooked with ease of use. The black color looks good with stainless and easy to clean. Exterior heats more than expected so using a tile mat underneath it.

Not my first Breville Smart Oven. Love it. I especially love the blue. Makes me smile every day. But sadly, the crumb tray is so difficult to keep clean. Crumbs are easy, but any oil or butter or drips and it stains so easily. I’m always scrubbing. There must be an easier coating they could put on.

Since buying the Breville, we hardly ever use our full sized oven, and have also retired our toaster. Heats way faster than a full sized oven, and cooks as well, or better

Bought this toaster oven with airfry partly because we had the previous model. Main reason is their toasting ability with a Bagel mode. Bagel mode is important for bagels, english muffins, pizza reheat, etc. Not only did they add Airfry but an enhanced convection mode. The added lighting is a great feature (light shines on the food, for example comes on 30sec before toast is done so you can see the brownness – very thoughtful by some designer) Overall a great unit – if you have previous model you’ll be amazed how quiet this one is in regular convection mode, almost can’t hear it; of course enhanced or airfry mode has the fan noise. For us best possible combination unit and was surprised at the increased quality and convenience features.

I’ve had this oven 10 days now and I know it’s going to be invaluable!! Air Fryer cooked my drumsticks to perfection. Pizza function was awesome. A quiche was baked perfectly and reheated without the crust turning to mush! Our Thanksgiving dinner was reheated to the right temperature without drying it out. And …. it toasts perfectly!Easy to clean. Easy to follow settings.Highly recommend this Breville machine. Happy cooking!!
