So easy to make fresh baked bread!
inally after many years I have a bread machine. I took a look at the directions and realized I have yet another computer-based appliance. Not just a knob to turn on and off but flashing lights and beeps and up and down arrows. But hey, I HAVE a bread machine and I can do it. I chose the simplest recipe from the manual which is Quick bread. But then I rushed to the store to buy “Bread” flour because the manual says “Bread flour is the most important ingredient of making bread.” (Also good to use Bread Machine yeast.) With a little preparation I got all my ingredients into the machine and made my first loaf. It looks and tastes delicious! It was easy and the machine did all the kneading and baking and I just sat and enjoyed the aroma. So, folks, if I can make bread, YOU can too with this wonderful machine. I was so proud I stitched up a pretty cover for it because it is rather big and I had no space for it on my kitchen counter. It looks very nice on my dining room side table. And now I am anxious to try French and whole wheat bread (there are 7 recipes in the manual).

Doesn’t Get Any Easier Than This
Making homemade bread can be an intimidating task, but this bread machine couldn’t make it any easier. It’s as simple as layering the ingredients in the pan, pushing a button, and giving it time to do its work. For my first batch, I tried a small loaf of the ultra quick bread with a medium crust which takes a little less than an hour from start to finish. The bread came out very dense, which is to be expected from a quick bread, but it had a good flavor and the crust was nice and crispy. It was just a bit on the sweet side for my taste, so I experimented with slightly less sugar the second time and the taste was perfect. The timed fruit and nut dispenser is a nice feature. I’ve never seen this in a bread machine. There are different modes for two different loaf sizes, which is convenient when you can’t quickly go through a large loaf of bread. You can also adjust the levels of “doneness” or how dark you’d like the crust to be. It has a robust 12 different baking modes and all the necessary accessories are included. Easy cleaning and the compact size looks great in my kitchen. With it being so easy and accessible to make bread with this machine, I’m looking forward to trying some different recipes from the included book.

Everything about this machine seems to be great except for the little booklet.
I was excited and bought all the ingredients prior of its arrival and was ready to go…The only thing that kept me from making bread on the first day was the tiny manual that comes with it.Its got bad grammar, the sandwich bread recipe in there doesn’t have water labeled, you simply have to assume that is what the measurement is for.Pretty pathetic manual. So, the machine works and the people who designed it did a great job.The manual, awful. -1 star. Do better.

Fantastic bread maker for beginners and experienced bakers alike.
I never thought making homemade bread could be this easy until I tried the Kitchen in the Box Bread Maker. As someone who had never used a bread machine before, I was surprised at how simple it was to get started. The instructions were clear, and the process was straightforward—just toss in the ingredients, press a few buttons, and let the machine do the rest. One thing I quickly learned is that baking bread is as much an art as it is a science. The order of ingredients matters: wet ingredients go in first, followed by the dry ones, with yeast on top (make sure to use fast yeast unless you want to prep it beforehand). But once you get that down, it’s as easy as selecting your settings.The machine has 12 different functions, lets you make basic bread, French bread, whole wheat, sweet bread, dough, etc.. and even jam. I started with sweet bread, using the menu button to select option #5. You can also choose how light or dark you want your crust. I set mine to light, but it still turned out darker than expected—so I’d probably avoid the darkest setting next time. Using the machine is incredibly simple: put the ingredients in the nonstick basket, lock it in place, close the lid, and press the LOAF button. The LCD display shows the timer, and the machine takes care of everything from mixing to kneading to baking. There’s even a small automatic dispenser on top that releases nuts or fruit at just the right time if you want to get fancy with your recipes.My bread came out soft, fluffy, and delicious, and I love that the machine includes a recipe booklet, a measuring cup, and tablespoon/teaspoon measuring spoons. Just make sure you have enough space on your counter, as the lid opens upwards. I hope my review was helpful to you.

I wanted to love it
I’m so disappointed.I can’t make heads or tails of the instructions and I don’t want to keep failing… it’s a waste of my ingredients.I have made bread (as almost anyone in 2020) but this is supposed to be quick and easy … Not really at all.I don’t recommend this. I wanted to.

Love It!
I very recently decided I wanted to get into bread making, and this made it unbelievably simple! This machine doesn’t doesn’t take a rocket scientist to operate…which is good, because I’m not one. It has clear instructions and works perfectly. I’ve made probably 50 loaves of bread already, and haven’t had a single issue. At some point, I will get into making breads that I can’t really use a machine for, but this will stay in my kitchen for sure! Very, very happy with this so far!
