Perfect in every way!
Used all options. Perfect! Love cup shelf for single cup brew! Cold brew! Hot water at chosen temperature! I’d call it instant hot water. Wonderful design fits into tight spaces.Quality of coffee will shock you! Knock your socks off! Clean taste! Perfect temp because you selected it! Our multi generational family loves it! Hint: use filtered water.

Great SCA-certified machine!
We love this machine – it is reasonably priced compared to others that are certified by the SCA (which is what I was looking for). The SCA certified the “Bold” brew setting and it does make very good coffee. Machine is easy to set up and use (and the manual is very helpful if you have questions), and is pretty easy to clean. The only challenging part to clean well is the pot itself because its shaped more like a beaker and you can’t get a hand in it (a dish brush does a good job). I’ve been using the machine daily for a couple of months and have not noticed any grime buildup impacting the coffee flavor, but regular cleaning is needed for the best flavor.

Avoid if you’re a tea drinker. “Okay” coffee…
Got this machine to save counter space since I drink about a pot of coffee a day and my wife drinks a few cups of hot tea and know that Braun generally has a good reputation.The plus is that the coffee is okay. It’s better than your normal drip which I attribute to the charcoal filter and a decent brewing temp.On the downside, the machine is bulkier than anticipated both in terms of height and width. It doesn’t really save countertop space as a regular drip coffee maker and electric kettle takes closely the same amount of space. I also feel for a unit which is supposed to be multifunctional should have a water reservoir exceeding a full pot of coffee since the goal is to use it regularly for other purposes. Now, these issues were avoidable with better planning on my part but still, the overall coffee maker is inconvenient.Here’s the kicker and the primary reason for the poor review. Even though the system promotes a separate hot water dispenser, the hot water tastes like coffee which is very unpleasant when making a cup of tea. The reason for this seems to be that although there’s a separate primary dispenser, there’s still a sort of spill over or condensation in the coffee basket which will lead to run off of a small bit of water from the basket into your cup even when you’re using the water dispenser.If you’re looking for a system that will give you nice clean hot water and coffee, don’t bother. I’m going back to the electric kettle.

Great Coffee but!!
This is a great machine, makes really good tasting coffee, it is not bad looking and hopefully it will last. There is however one drawback, if you want the carafe to stay hot;1) The handle under the filter basket has to be switched to “DripStop”2) The “keep warm” button needs to be turned on3) The selector dial has to be switched to “full” or “half” carafeIf you forget to switch the dial back to a setting other than half/full carafe when you make new coffee, you are going to waste the coffee. Although not for me, this can be an inconvenience for some, especially if you have bad memory…..

Makes a great cup of coffee
Absolutely love the taste of our coffee. After reading mixed reviews, we pulled the trigger replacing our Ninja coffee pot. Great design but poor execution.
I’ve owned the Braun MultiService for the past 4 months and not as excited about my purchase as I was at the beginning. I’ve had multiple error codes (E01, E02) that I’ve had to research and eventually troubleshoot to get fully operational once again. Once working it didn’t deliver volumes of coffee consistently. When it comes to a cup of hot water the design didn’t execute as well as the concept and offered more steam then a cup of water. The cherry on top was the ‘H2O’ error code that not enough water was in the reservoir. I filled, emptied, filled again, pulled out/pushed the reservoir back in multiple times…pulled the power cord and repeated the aforementioned only to temporarily clear the error code. (Please reference the attached video). I’ve owned other Braun products and purchased this one based on those past experiences…I might be an isolated issue but am NOT happy, especially now that I can brew any coffee before heading out to work.

Pros: The ability to control temperature, strength, and specific cups results in a superior cup of coffee. I am 100% satisfied.Con’s: There is a lever control to stop the flow of coffee when it is brewing so a cup of coffee can be poured while brewing. Would have been better if this was automatic as in other coffee makers I have used.

Perfect for single cup or pot
We absolutely love this coffee maker! I hated using the pods because of all the plastic. This has different sized single cup options. It’s quick very easy to use and makes delicious coffee. And it looks nice on the counter as well.

We love this thing!!! The best coffee maker we’ve ever owned. Reliably makes the perfect cup or full pot brew. Also love that we can make tea/boiling water without having to do any extra cleaning. No coffee flavour contamination like you might get with a pod coffee maker.Only complaint is that because the size section is on a dial, it’s easy to forget what the size is set to. Occasionally we make the wrong size by accident.

I must say, the superior German quality makes a difference. It is definitely one of the rare products that offers the best brewing, the ideal temperature and the most delicious filter coffee like Philips’ machines. The brewing options also make life easier, it is definitely well thought out to brew directly into your thermos at home or when going out. With Tim Hortons’ Colombian beans or Illy’s coffees, you can achieve the best results in the world. As a coffee enthusiast, I must say that I particularly like the above brands because of their quality differences. The machine also offers a cold coffee option for hot summer days, so if you’re a coffee lover, buying this along with an automatic coffee machine will allow you to prepare all your coffee options at home.

This coffee pot is garbage,the water does not get hot, you can drink the whole cup in one mouthful.. when you are. Making 1//2, to a whole pot, when finished brewing it shuts off the warming tray does not start, when you making 1/2pot and put the drip stop on,the whole machine shuts down. I feel like Amazon sent me a machine that was already a return. I don’t know if I want to trust Amazon with future purchases. Thanks

This machine is perfect for my needs. I was able to throw away old coffee and verismo machines and still had room on my counter. The fact that I can make cold brew and iced coffee was a big selling point for me. Would recommend to anyone looking for a coffee machine with all the features. A good buy.

So far so good. We like the variety of preset size options. If you follow the recommended number of scoops for your chosen size the Gold option makes a very nice hot tasting cup of coffee. It’s a good looking coffee maker with the stainless steel including the handle on the pot.
