Not much to offer for Everyday Cooking..Too much fluff and not much else.
I wish I would have read the other reviews before I purchased this book. I don’t know why amazon rates this book with as many stars as it does. While it is probably true that the recipes are probably good, they are not for “real” people who want to cook a good meal for their family. They are for specialty meals with lots of time and energy being put into the production. Some people would say this book is for an elite chef cooking for a high end restaurant. Very few things to cook, and too much production and photos and bio’s of the chefs. Lots of fluff and not much for the practical owners of Bradley Smokers.

Mostly recipes and very few tips!
I bought this at the same time I bought the Bradley Smoker and I was expecting a lot more basic instructions than one page of tips and tricks. I found more help at the Bradley site and others, and it is missing some more basic recipes for food that people eat at BBQ joints but might like to try at home. I doubt I’m going to get deer or moose, but I would have liked a recipe for chicken drumsticks and a whole turkey! However, the recipe for ribs is a winner, no matter what kind of chips you choose.

Don’t waste your money on this book.
I bought a Bradley smoker and bought this book hoping it would have good basic smoking recipes and smoking information. NOT!!Basically this book is useless and filled with recipes that I am sure the vast majority of the people who make the mistake of buying this book will never use.The last two pages sort of have some decent smoking information, and the book contains maybe 4 or 5 recipes I might try, at the most. There is just no way this book is worth anywhere near $15. Actually, a one star rating for this almost useless book is being…nice.
