Perfect home shredder
Very happy with this shredder. The crosscut is perfect and it is very easy to empty. I had bought one from Best Buy and I took it back. I’m so glad I found this one on Amazon. It is quieter than most, shreds quickly and is a good value for the money.

Extremely Dissappointed UPDATEE REVIEW
The shredder worked great first 3 months. I use it once a week. Worked fine and then doesn’t. The motor sounds like a dying car. Extremely disappointed. Had an Amazon shredder for years, never failed. Decided to get one that shreds more paper. Big mistake. Do not buy BONSAII brand.UPDATE I SENT PHOTOS AND VIDO SHOWING THE PROBLEM. THEY SENT ME A REPLACEMENT SHREDDER AND TOLD DID NOT HAVE TO RETURN THE BAD MACHINE. COULD NOT FOR A BETTER RESULT.

Shreds well and quiet
I like the micro cut and the quiet operation. Has no problem shredding 3 triple folded sheets in it’s envelope.. A lot quieter than the Fellowes I 12 sheet that I previously had that sounded like a jet! Nice size paper catch bin. Feel it’s a little flimsy taking it in and out to empty. Has to go back in perfect! It even says, in instructions and show us a picture of the space if it’s not in right or it won’t work! The operation buttons could be better. Also kind of flimsy not easy switching to different settings and clicking it in. Feel like that may be an issue in the future. But overall a good shredder

Awesome shredder at a budget price
This thing is a beast. I’ve accidently pushed in too many papers a few times and occasionally pushed them in at an awkward angle. Each time the machine simply pulls the papers through without jamming! A couple of times, it was borderline miraculous it didn’t jam.The size of the hopper is generous enough that I don’t have to empty it too often.It does a thorough job of shredding/cross-cutting. I’ve only occasionally noticed a few stray streamers from the edges of the papers that are not cross cut.It seems fairly durable and not prone to overheating. I got this to unclutter my home office and spent almost the entire first day continuously shredding about 10 years of records. At the end of the day, I was spent and the machine was entirely unfazed!I can’t say enough good things about this shredder. However, since this is a review, I feel compelled to find at least one criticism. It is somewhat loud while shredding, but that’s sort of to be expected.

Easy to set up
We had a lot of old paperwork to go through from an old filing cabinet. It works very well and it’s easy to set up. I also order lubrication sheets and feed those through after so many uses. Worth the price.

Wow works perfect
We needed a new shredder and this ones does a fab job at shredding. I did like one review did and put the carboard it in, just a little as I did not wan to ruin the blades, that would be my luck, but it shredded it like a pro. Soon I will have to shred some work documents and this will stand up to the test. It shreds paper very nicely, CC run through like butter. Hopefully this lasts a while for the price they are now.

Good budget shredder
I wanted to get the same shredder that we’ve been using for our small office for my home, but sadly that’s no longer available. Amazon suggested this one as a substitute.It does the most important thing – shredding paper and junk mail – without clogging or making a dusty mess, which is the experience I’ve had with other home shredders. It went through several mailers that I didn’t even need to take out of the envelope and didn’t jam on plastic windows or weird inserts. I ran it continuously for about 10 min without overheating issues.The resulting shreds are nice, tiny, crinkled bits that destroy any sensitive information and can, in a pinch, be used for cat box filler in case of national shortages. (For other crazy cat people looking at this model, my cats have informed me they do NOT like the noise this machine makes and will be hiding under the furniture until I turn it off.)I have two issues with this particular model: one, the body and bin are fairly lightweight plastic. The body is only three sides, which made inserting the wheels without damaging or warping the chassis a little hard. I also had trouble getting the top, bin and body all lined up correctly the first time – and if you don’t get it right, the unit won’t power on or even tell you if it’s getting power, which was confusing.The second issue is that the main elements of this shredder are all in the top unit – power supply, shred, controls, etc – which makes it top-heavy. If the floor isn’t completely level, or the wheels are inserted unevenly, it wobbles.However, neither of these are enough to make me regret the purchase. It’s good value for the price and does a solid job for normal home use.
