Using receive mode. Easy setup.
I’m using this to enable my 2007 vehicle to play Amazon Music from my phone or tablet. It just took a few seconds to set up. The phone recognized the Bluetooth device immediately and connected. I played audio through the car sound system. Had someone call me and it immediately switched over to phone mode, and resumed playing at the end of the call. It’s working as expected.

Low Audio
This transmitter has great range and pairs immediately with my headphone. There is latency which doesn’t bother me when I use it with the radio. With the tv, the audio doesn’t sync with people talking. The real problem with me is that I have to turn the radio to its fullest volume and the speakers as well so that I can hear whatever I’m listening to. It has very low audio. Otherwise, the system works well. Does not come with a power supply and you have to order one. Also, the cord is very short and you will need to have a longer one if you want to be able to plug this into an outlet farther than a foot away.

Works well, but I wish there was an “off” switch.
I use this so I can pair bluetooth earbuds with my older TV. I think it’s a great, simple design. The sound quality is good and I’ve had no issues pairing my earbuds. I’ve only used the Rx (receiving) function and the sensitivity of the device is very good–so good, in fact, that it often detects my neighbor’s devices (among shared walls in an apartment).I hate to be picky, but my major gripe is that there is no “off” button. The device is in my bedroom, and I don’t like devices emitting light when I’m trying to sleep in a dark environment. The LCD screen is great and very handy for identifying receiving/transmitting state and what device is connected, but it is bright if you’re trying to sleep, so an off switch would be nice. If it weren’t for that, I’d give it 5 stars, hands down. This is only a mild inconvenience, as I simply unplug it before I go to bed.Even so, I still highly endorse it if you’re looking for a simple, cost-effective solution. I’ve only used the receiving function, but I love that it has a transmitting option, too, as that makes it very versatile and an even better value for the money.

Worked briefly, but there were issues. Quit transmitting completely after a few days.
I bought this product because I didn’t like that the Bluetooth transmitter in my Samsung TV shuts off the sound to all other connected sound devices when a Bluetooth device is connected. I wanted the option of having the regular speakers on low while someone who needs more volume could use Bluetooth headphones simultaneously. I got that to work pretty well, except that there is a considerable lag between the sound in the room and the sound in the headphones which is pretty confusing and annoying. But there is another problem that was really unexpected and strange. When the Bluetooth headphones are turned off, this device tries to pair up with the television which causes the TV to lose its picture and otherwise act really bizarre. I was able to get rid of that problem by going into some really weird and scary settings using “secret” key combinations on the TV remote to get deep into some very strange, hidden and scary technical settings in the TV software to shut off the TV’s Bluetooth. I am moderately tech-savvy and follow instructions really well, but this process made me very uncomfortable, though I did manage to do it successfully. So it seemed to work okay for a few days. Then I went to try to show my sister-in-law how to use it and couldn’t get any sound through the headphones. I thought that the problem was with the headphones at first, but it will not transmit sound to anything. The display and the devices indicate that there is a connection, but there is no sound at all.I had this thing for close to a year before I hooked it up, so I don’t plan to ship it back. However, I did order a different device that claims to have very low latency that I think may work better for my intended purposes.

Works great for my needs
I wanted to dump Spotify since I dont really need to pay for podcasts from every person who thinks he is important enough to run one. Just wanted some commercial-free music in my wireless headphones for 30 minutes a day while I treadmill just outside on my patio. Hooked this up to one of the passthrough RCA plug sets on my ancient stereo, which itself can handle inputs from just about anything, and, viola, works great so far. And at the cost of one month on Spotify.

Works but has a LOT of audio delay – Don’t use if the audio needs to sync with video
It works, connects easily, but there is a LOT of delay. A half second or more. This is fine if you’re using this to listen to music or something, but definitely do not use it to connect audio from a TV to a soundbar or headphones, as the audio and video will be extremely out of sync. Some TVs have a setting where they can delay the video to account for this, but if your TV is old enough that you need a bluetooth transmitter because it doesn’t have bluetooth built in, then it probably doesn’t have that setting. I made the mistake of buying this to connect an old TV to a soundbar (because the TVs optical port had broken), and it’s completely unusable for that purpose.

Low volume level
Typical setup for a cheap device – a little flakey, but easy enough. RCA inputs allow direct connection to my turntable. However, the signal transmitted was so low I had to turn the volume way up on the receiver. Thought about returning it, but the alternative was worse.

Bluetooth transmitter is what I needed
I was looking for an inexpensive bluetooth transmitter and happy I ordered this one. Unlike other divices, this one will transmit or receive bluetooth signals. I needed to transmit since I wanted to plug a record player into this and play music on my sound bar. Had it working within minutes after removing it from the box. It is switched to receive (RX) when I first plugged it in, so I had to switch it to transmit (TX) and it paired to my sound bar quickly. Instructions aren’t super clear, but figured it out in about 30 seconds. I didn’t know what the RX and TX meant but now I understand. Sound seems to be excellent too. Great product, great price.

Plays music from an SD card, streams music from my phone and can also work as a connection to Bluetooth speaker. This thing was not expensive and honestly it was more of an experiment to see if it was what I needed for my 70’s stereo. Build quality is not great but it works and the software on the built-in mp3 player is pretty smart (deals with folders and remembers where it left off). Overall quite happy with this little box.

Purchased as a gift. Review from recipient as follows;”I have 2 headsets (different brands) which are immediately found by my laptop, but are very difficult for this transmitter to pair with. It can take up to 20 resets for it to recognize mine while finding others that I assume are in my apartment building. I do not turn off my headset, but wait until it is low to recharge it and go through the lengthy paring mechanism again. Very frustrating. I do NOT recommend! I notice the sound from the headset is delayed from the TV sound, not synced to lip movement.”
