Perfect fit for Whirlpool Ultimate Care II
We were getting ready to make a Wal-Mart trip to but new underwear for the family when this arrived 3 days earlier than the expected delivery date! What a relief!I set about installing it immediately. I had taken apart the dryer completely trying to figure out why part was not working. But now realize that for my dryer, just removing the kick panel beneath the dryer door gives easy access the the dryer heating element. Put everything back together and didn’t feel the heat right away. It was getting warm but not hot. So opened the kick panel and realized the tube holding the heating element was not lined up correctly with the intake vent for the drying drum. Removed it and lined it up correctly. That’s how I know I didn’t need to take the dryer apart :-). We have done 5 loads of laundry since then. We typically use the medium automatic dry setting and this works great. Also tried the high heat settings for a load of towels. It works perfectly! Very happy with the purchase. Even the wife is thrilled. We were looking at a 2k set from Costco if we were going to replace the dryer. Money saved!Note that I used gloves when handling the heating element. Thank’s to Corona virus, I have the gloves easy accessible so didn’t have to search for them. Rest assured, if the gloves weren’t in sight I would have gone without them even though I should not.¡¡ Always unplug the dryer before doing any work on it !!

Our Kenmore electric dryer finally stopped blowing hot air to dry our clothes. Instead of spending close to $1k to get a new dryer, I attempted to figure out what went wrong. After a few research on the web and watching a few YouTube videos, it was fairly straight forward to diagnose and I found out the heating element went bad. A few research on Amazon and I bump to this product. The site is very useful as it listed all the models that are compatible to the part number. Best yet, it also comes with the thermal fuse cut off kit. My thermal fuse kit still worked but I decided to replace them anyway. The product arrived fairly quick even with the situation that we have now and replacing the heat element and the thermal fuse cut off kit were straight forward. So far, it heating element has holding up for more than 2 weeks and we have gone through close to 8 loads of drying. I highly recommend this product and it has saved me hundreds of dollars from replacing the entire dryer.

KENMORE MODEL 110.69822800 Almost 5 years
For a KENMORE MODEL: 110.69822800. Ordered and installed in August of 2020. Element burned out in February of 2025. Paid $30 for it then. Pricing out the OEM parts now and it will be around $125. Still around $30 on Amazon. I was happy with it for the price.

Continue to Burnout
I have purchased this product twice and repaired dryer with this product only to have them burnout after two months. Both have literally burned up and again need to be replaced and I have replaced all relays and electrical components as well both times. Easy to install but doesn’t seem to be durable enough.

Well my front load whirlpool dryer is 23 years old now and yesterday no heat, after a little research and one youtube video I ordered the part (very cheap), replacement arrived the next day and boy very easy to install I did more work cleaning all the thick layers of lint found in there and removing pennies, nickels and dimes, I’m glad this part failed because I would never had looked to see the amount of lint that built up over the years a true fire hazzard.Hopefully this replacement will last as long has the original, even if it fails it’s easy enough and cheap enough to replace no expensive tech required.

Everything seems good. this one is cheaper than the last one I bought.Last one I bought, different brand, first year replaced the thermal cut off fuse, 2 years, 7 months coil broke.Bought this hoping for a little bit longer of a life span. They are not expensive but inconvenient when they burn out.Says lifetime, limited warranty… Time will tell.
