Beginner drone option.
This product is quite interesting. I haven’t had a drone before but was quite excited as I flew quite a few RC helicopters when I was younger (broke 3/4).For starters, the instructions aren’t exactly perfect, but I felt as though they got the points across and the information you needed.The control and drone themselves feel reasonably built. The foam of the drone isn’t breaking everywhere, and the controller fits alright into my hands.The drone itself is quite loud compared to the RC helis I flew, even at the lowest available speeds. And the trim function of the controller I couldn’t get perfect, even after multiple restarts and spending the entire battery of time just trying to get it perfectly centered. It could be my unit alone but hey if you’re actively flying it everywhere I feel like it won’t bother you. I’m just a perfectionist. The roll button is neat, just be wary you need some serious air space.Overall this isn’t half bad, I liked it a lot. But I don’t want to tell you it’s the best ever. It doesn’t include the obstacle avoidance radar, and the spare parts are flying around the box loosely rattling quite a bit. And the drone itself has some minor issues.

Fun for all! – UPDATED
UPDATE:We still love the drone, but two of the propellers were lost in the first two days. There are only 4 extra, which means we only have two left and I can’t find where to purchase extra propellers.ORIGINAL REVIEW:If you read the instructions and follow them, it’s easy to use. We tried this outside in a large open space for the first try. Unfortunately my grandson flew it into a chain link fence and broke off one of the propellers. The drone comes with extras, but we’d left those at home. We’d flown it enough to realize that it was easy to control so tried it inside this time.I’d read in the ad that it had radar and could avoid hitting walls…however it never avoided walls or other objects. When we looked back at the video on the ad we noticed a small square box on the plane and realized that was the piece that had the radar. The sqare box was also shown on the instruction booklet, but is NOT shown in the photos of the product as being included.So, no radar or avoidance control, but still alot of fun. The plane is basically styrofoam – very light weight with a few plastic propellers, so even when it does bump into something, it does not damage walls — it can knock over a wine glass!The video is my 9 year old grandson operating the drone with his uncle giving verbal directions. There are warning lights that come on when the battery is dying so you can land it and it doesn’t come crashing down. The battery only runs for about 10-15 minutes, but comes with two. However they take about 45 minutes to be fully charged.A great little drone – does a 360º rollover with just the press of one button.

Kid friendly!
I got this for a preteen relative and they were able to figure it out pretty quickly! Very lightweight and functions pretty well from our first test flight. Meant for kids so no big and flashiness was expected. Would recommend for the preteen age

Sweet Drone, ceiling proof
I love this little fighter jet drone. My favorite part is the little one (4yo) can start learning how to fly the drone. She likes to push the altitude all the way up, but in this case with the design and the foam hitting the ceiling doesn’t damage or wreck it. It’s quite nice how durable the foam is as well, I thought for sure it would get wrecked coming out of the package. One thing about packaging though, didn’t realize there was a wire around the neck of the jet, we almost snapped the weak front off trying to get it out of the package. That is a terrible place for the wire to be on the weakest part.
