Works nicely, racks don’t fit storage tray.
It works well but the two guides are 1/4” longer than the crumb tray so it is difficult to fit all four pieces in. Once back together, it stores vertical very nicely.

Works well but a bit cumbersome
I really like the way this things folds up and stores very compactly on the countertop, but it’s a bit cumbersome to put together the right way just to slice bread. I have trouble slicing homemade bread evenly so I thought this would help. It does help, but I find it almost too much work to get out and use for just one slice of bread. I’ve gone to slicing the entire loaf at once just so I don’t have to get it out and put it together. The good things about it are: The tray that sits below the bread, catching the bread crumbs and then can be used as a bread serving tray. Crumbs are a pain when slicing bread, and I love that this tray takes care of that. The way it folds together and looks like a decorative piece of wood is fun and I don’t mind it on the countertop for that reason. There are so many options with loaf size, width and length and also slicing sizes. You can slice thin or thick, depending on your preference and it is very sturdy. Overall a very well thought out design.

Uneven slicing
Hard to put together and slices are not even with no other options. Stops har hard to use and almost requires a hammer to get apart. Don’t waste the money.

Sending the product back
I was so excited to get the product only to open it and it not fit together correctly. Therefore it does not slice bread correctly. I had to send it back.

Beautiful Bread Slicing Guide
This Bamboo Bread Slicer is beautifully designed. Its features allow you to stably hold a loaf of bread for precision slicing. The carved slots under the loaf keep the crumbs in the plastic tray beneath the cutting surface. I admire the workmanship displayed in the beautiful finish of the wood. If the bread I’m slicing is larger than the cutting space, I simply leave one side off and use the other as my cutting guide. I can make slices as thin or as thick as I choose.I give this Bamboo Bread Slicer a five-star rating. I highly recommend it to everyone who prefers to slice their own bread. It will also make a lovely gift for someone you love.
