Works Great
I use them for work and they are very good noise canceling. I work at coffee shops or a noisy office and those on the meeting cannot hear the background noise. I will say after a year had to buy a new one because the plastic cracked around the earbuds. But I liked them so much I had to get a new one.

Superb Headphones Avantree Aria 3 (2024)
Ok, I’m not an audiophile, but I do listen to music, and I had an older pair of Avantree headphones that I gave to someone who needed a pair. So I purchased Bose QC from Sam’s and they were $100 off, but the ear pockets were not deep enough. So I went to walmart and picked up a pair of Bose QC Ultras and they were nice, but couldn’t warrant the high price. So I checked out a pair of Ankers that I did use on a flight, but they were a little heavy and were not comfortable enough (as I remembered my old pair of Avantree’s). So I returned all three “expensive” sets and ordered the Avantree Aria 3’s and literally love them. So lightweight and comfortable, but I did order a hard case for them as I really didn’t like the soft case. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZQD46D4?smid=A2GKUMJJIDBR5L&ref_=chk_typ_imgToDp&th=1

Really disappointed that this is worse than their older model was!
About 6 years ago, I bought Avantree noise-canceling headphones and they were amazing! I fly a LOT and use them all the time. After all these years, the electronics and the battery are still working like new. But one of the speakers recently broke off and I wasn’t able to epoxy it back on very strong. So I wanted to buy the exact same headphones again. Unfortunately, Avantree no longer makes that same model. Even more unfortunately, their replacement model costs about $20 more than their old model did. And most unfortunately, this new model is WORSE than the old model was!Examples:1) The old model had 3 buttons, all on the right-ear side: Connection, Volume, and Noise-cancelling. They were easy to operate based on feel. They were all the same side. They were all spring-loaded push-in buttons. Simple. But this new model has some new (and unnecessary) buttons. Some are on the right ear. Some are on the left ear. Some of them are the push-in type. Some of them are the sliding-option type. So a lot of time is spent removing these headphones to look and see which button does which function and which side it’s on and how the button is activated. Bad design.2) On the old model, you could just turn on the noise-canceling option at any time. But this new model won’t let you turn it on unless you FIRST turn on the blue-tooth and connect it to your phone! I don’t always use my phone, especially on long flights. I don’t necessarily want to be constantly listening to music or whatever from my phone. Sometimes I just want to cancel out the loud background noise and that’s all. But I can’t do that any more.If this were a new company, I would give it 2 stars, but since Avantree is an established company who USED to make a good product, they should know better than to come up with this horrible design. So 1 star it is.I’ll be returning this headset and looking for another brand. Avantree lost a customer with me.

Nothing like the original…
Noise canceling feature cuts out and back in if you unlock phone, start new app, call, get called, get text, send text or get Email. Also not even close to being water resistant. As in morning dew will make it short out. Do not let it get any amount of rain on it whatsoever. Side note, don’t use the boom mic from the other model,it completely canceled the noise isolation and fed me my own voice on top of that. don’t try and seve money with this model, it’s a steaming hunk of… not sure I trust this brand anymore.

Too small.
These were way too small for me. It hurts to wear them. No where in the description did it say these were a small size. Other than that they work great. Connect well and fast. Noise canceling works great. No latency. They look well made. If it weren’t for the small size I would really like them.

These are my first pair of Avantree headphones so I honestly didn’t know what to expect.Pairing was very simple, they automatically went into pairing mode the moment I turned them on, and connecting them to another device was super easy as it has a pairing switch on the power button, I’m really happy about this as most headphones don’t make it clear how to enter pairing mode. There’s a dedicated ANC switch which is also very nice, unfortunately it doesn’t appear to have a hearthrough/ambient/whateverthey’recallingitthesedays mode which is kind of strange since ANC should make it possible to have this feature since they both use the same hardware. There is a dedicated EQ button which yet again, makes me very pleased, I often EQ my headphones since I’m not a big fan of the typical bass heavy sound that most headphones have by default these days, unfortunately you only get 2 modes, “bass mode” and “balanced mode”, there is a slight difference between these but not enough for me, it would have been nice to have a “bright” or “voice” mode which is typically what I’d use. They are very comfortable, the earpads are soft and the headphones don’t have much weight to them so after a while you forget you’re even wearing them. I wear glasses so headphones that press hard on your ears can cause me a bit of pain after a while and thankfully I didn’t get that with these, they’ve got the perfect amount of pressure.Either way, I am quite pleased with these headphones, they’re solid, work well, and have all the features most people want, it’s great how good wireless headphones have gotten in this price range and I’d definitely recommend these!

These headphones look and feel pretty good quality. They are a bit plasticy, but not excessively so, and they still feel solid enough. The design is simple and discreet. They can be folded into a smallish size, and this allows them to be stored in the included travel bag. This is a nice bag, made of what feels like cotton; it zips up and as an extra pouch for cables, which is excellent.Wearing the headphones, they are quite comfortable. In some ways this is the most important criteria in my experience. They are light, and the earpad shape is well designed. The earpad cushions are replacable, and seem compatible with the earpads designed for Bose, which is very convenient. The cushions aren’t terrible, but the material is very thin and not terribly breathable so I’d like to switch them out at some point. Furtunately, the cushions give enough clearance so my ears aren’t being squashed. I’ve found this to be a major factor in the earphones being comfortable after being worn for a long time.Connecting the headphones to my devices by bluetooth was simple enough, and once paired, it reconnects very quickly once I switch them back on. They also support wired connection, which is really nice (a cable in included for this). Charging works fine with the USB-C port. The active noise cancellation introduces an odd background sound. It does cancel some background noise. I haven’t been able to test this in a noisy environment (like a train) yet. This takes us to the sound quality. It’s not terrible, it’s perfectly fine. It’s not amazing either. It’s a bit tinny. But it’s fine all things considered. So, overall, comfortable, useful bluetooth headphones, with acceptable sound quality for use when travelling for instance.

Got these to use to listen to music with at home, on the train and also use within meetings.Opening this package up, you’re presented with the headphones and a little note which looks personalised. It obviously isn’t, but it’s a nice touch. The headphones are pretty lightweight and twist just above the earpiece so that they sit comfortably on the head. They’re very simple to pair as I just switched them on a they appeared as a Bluetooth device on my phone. Once connected you hear an extremely clear voice giving instructions. At first I thought someone was in the room with me because it’s so clear! You’ll hear this voice when enabling ANC or swapping the EQ mode. You can switch this off if you want. The sound that comes from these headphones impressed me immensely. I spent last night listening to my favourite tunes and they sounded punchy and with plenty of detail in the sound. Very clear indeed. Pressing the EQ mode switches between ‘balanced’ and ‘bass’. The bass mode simply adds extra bass but not to the detriment of the rest of the music/instruments.The ANC mode attempts to apply noise cancellation so that you can’t hear external noise whilst listening to music. This is effective to some degree but I could still hear external noise somewhat. I could still hear my TV last night with this mode on and on the train today, I could still hear people banging on about stuff. It does minimise it somewhat but don’t expect total solitary confinement audible wise. These headphones are also dead easy to connect to Teams for meetings and they work a treat for that. These also come with a handy zip pouch for carrying them around with and they’re easily charged with the included USB-C cable. After wearing these for hours at a time, I found them comfortable and easy to wear. I usually struggle with headphones due to weight or sweating, but I didn’t have either problem with these.Overall, I’m really happy with these headphones. They’re light enough to wear for hours and they’re easy to setup and get up and running. I think the sound quality is really good. Both the balanced and bass mode offer very good sound quality and make listening to music a joy.

Nice rich sound. Works well with live TV, downloaded video and hifi. Pairs easily. However if you are planning to use for streamed video like netflix or iplayer, the SBC codec simply isn’t up to it the speech delay is glaringly obvious and cant be fixed at least on my TV. This spoils the experience. Pretty bulky as well even though it folds down. Have swapped for Earphones supporting APTx LL and the difference is amazing. So bear in mind if planning to use for online video.
