Almost at the end of a 4 year warranty, our shredder was not working. I made a claim, sent it back (no charge shipping) and within 6 hours of dropping it off at UPS I had my refund! That is 1st class service!

Good plan but get ready to call them
I bought this protection plan for a PlayStation 5 controller (drift issues) and apple usb-c to lightning connector. Each time I tried to file the claim through the Amazon app, it Taurus you to the asurion page to file but it errors with descriptions and don’t let you proceed with the claim. Try to chat but that’s disabled which means you have to call. To make it worse, the number asurion posts on that page isn’t for Amazon customers. You end up getting transferred to file your claim. In the end it was taken care of though. But it could’ve been so much easier

No BS Insurance. Rare and well worth the money.
I like that they actually do what they say they will do. You purchase insurance on the item and if the item has a problem for a covered reason, the purchase price is refunded. Done! You may be required to ship the item back, but shipping is included. I would definitely purchase again.

Headache
I was so happy when I finally received my mini keyboard. When I turn on the light. I was kinda disappointed. The lights didn’t really cover the entire keys. It was mostly in the middle. And when I plugged in the USB charging cord, it didn’t really fit in correctly. It was loose. So I couldn’t really charge it. Since the light went out and it stop working. I return it. And try to get my money back for the extra protection plan that I had bought from ASURION. They gave me a difficult time, and insist that my identity was incorrect. Not sure hows that’s possible. If that’s the case, then Amazon would not able to verify my info and give me my refund. I had no problem proving my identity with Amazon. So I have no clue what the ASURION customer service was talking about. Also while I was trying to ask the lady from ASURION why my identity info was incorrect, she hung up on me. Wow, so unprofessional. I will never buy an ASURION protection plan again. ASURION gave me the runaround when I requested my $3.99 refund. Imagine if it cost $100 or more. (I will never buy Asurion, LLC ever again!!) I don’t need the headache.
