Awesome!
Under warranty of our Brother Printer, copier and scanner had to be repaired once and then when mailed back, the ink cartridges were jammed and the machine would not work. I called to let Asurion know. Told them if they could not fix it, I wanted my money back. The machine was shipped and the next think I knew, I got a notice saying the machine was not repairable and I was get refunded. Thank you Asurion for following up with me. The money went towards another machine.

Better than nothing
This is my second time having to use the Asurion warranty and both times they were unable to fix my machine. The first time they said due to it getting damaged in shipping (it was packed by a professional shipping company so my mind is a little blown away there) and this time for what I felt was just a part that died ahead of schedule and just wasn’t going to pay to replace something that should have still been working. When this happens, they give you a gift card for the amount of the product. However, you wind up losing sales tax you have to pay a second time when repurchasing a replacement item and in my case, the best place to purchase was not Amazon so until I need to use $750+ of a gift card, I’m out that money. So they do hold their end of the bargain up, but the success rate of having a working product just isn’t there.

That the ASURION 3 Year Office Equipment Protection Plan ($700 – $799.99) in Amazon is misleading
When i got the ASURION 3 Year Office Equipment Protection Plan ($700 – $799.99) for my DECO Gear 49 inch Monitor that is covered all possibilities of problems with the DECO Gear 49 inch Monitor as it did not contain any remarks it the contrary to any info I saw. for this i do not blame Amazon but i do blame Asurion Insurance for not being more clear about its coverage as as the fact I’m out $800 and i have a monitor i can use anymore

Responsive to questions, but unsure of how the repair/replacement process would go
I haven’t had to redeem the protection plan yet, so I can’t speak to that process. The coverage is fairly standard though. I did have some communication with them directly as I wanted to confirm if the protection plan would continue to cover the item if they replace it. They got back to me fairly quickly and confirmed that if they replace the item it would be considered using up the protection plan, but it would transfer if the manufacturer replaced the item.For the price the protection plan did not feel like a bad investment. If I end up needing to redeem the protection plan I will update this review with my experience.
