I had some issues with the website, but as soon as I got on chat with customer support, they were able to help me file my claim and on the same day that I returned my broken keyboard. They already gave me the gift card so I was able to get a new keyboard the next day thank you!

The Asurion Plan is Impossible to Use
The Asurion plan is a joke! It’s almost impossible to figure out how to file a claim. It’s impossible to reach someone in person. I wish I had never bought the plan. It’s a waste of money. I bought it to cover a Canon Color imageCLASS LBP632Cdw Wireless Mobile Ready Laser Printer, 22ppm,White. The printer was a gift to my 90-year old father. The Asurion protection plan was purchased to give him peace of mind. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to figure out how to get help to troubleshoot a printing error!

Asurion was very easy to deal with and made the dreaded return of my broken printer a breeze. Unfortunately, the problem could not be repaired, but I received a diagnosis within 5 days and a quick refund thereafter. Great communication.

Honored a replacement when my printer was not repairable
I purchased an HP printer in July 2020 and the Asurion insurance along with it. The printer never worked right, but HP (under their warranty) kept assuring me it was the cartridges, even though I was using their InstantInk plan – lol!Finally, when I couldn’t get even a picture to print w/any correct coloring, I decided to contact Asurion and get them to repair or replace. After almost 3 weeks, they decided the printer was irreparable and provided me with an Amazon gift card in the amount of the printer (less taxes and insurance). So, I couldn’t complain about that.The only reason for a 4 and not a 5 star rating, I feel that the decision could’ve been made much sooner than 3 weeks. I have been w/out a printer/scanner for 3 weeks and then trying to order a replacement printer has had its challenges with supply chain issues. So, bottom line, be prepared that a repair or replacement might take longer than you expect. However, the outcome was at least fair (minus the inconvenience).Thank you Asurion!Jbare

Responds quickly to claims and allows you to connect to Amazon to get details of transactions so that you barely have to enter anything during the claim. I have had a couple of keyboards destroyed by water over time, and this insurance has become pivotal piece of mind for me. Thank you for doing exactly what you said you would do for a reasonable price.
