Just got a newer car and it had the rca jack hookups. The wired connection doesn’t effect the sound quality if whatever you’re listening off of. For the price is was cheap and effective. The cable quality is braided and seems rather sturdy but time will tell.

The item did not work straight out of the package. Unfortunately I purchased a different connector at the same time that worked perfectly, so I didn’t try this one right away. As soon as I did, I realized it wasn’t working. Regrettably, the return window had already been closed. Don’t waste your money on this!

Very very finicky
Let’s start off with >clean out your charge port< which I did and even on my iPad it did the same. The charge port snaps in fine but if you jostle the cable any it weakens on one channel. If you leave your phone alone it will sound fine.
