I purchased this deskmat to replace a black neoprene one that was a cat hair magnet. I knew that this mat would be thinner (it is), not squishy at all (it isn’t), and less likely to show light colored cat hair (it is), and at an affordable price. My expectations were met the moment I unrolled it on my desk, and now I’m considering buying other colors in the future.The desk mat is not a “pad” per se as it isn’t thick at all – it’s more like the thickness of cardstock, but pliable. The backing of the mat is soft with no stickiness. The mat didn’t move around once it is placed on my bamboo wood desktop. The top of the deskmat has a slight texture to it. My Logitec MX mouse didn’t have any issues moving around on it and its functionality was not impaired by the surface. I think the mat will be easy to wipe off and clean, but due to it being very thin leather, ink marks may be tougher to get off of the surface.The mat I purchased is 31″ long which was slightly shorter and wider than the mat it replaced, but would probably be the best size for most desks if you want good coverage under your keyboard and mouse.I unrolled the deskmat and placed heavy things on each corner to flatten it out. There is only a slight curl to the edge which I think in time and with warmer temps inside the house, will flatten the mat. There was a note in the box on how to roll the mat in the opposite direction to get it to flatten. I didn’t need to do that.This product arrived very well packaged – gift worthy in my opinion – and the quality of the mat is very good. I would not hesitate to buy another, give it as a gift, or recommend it to others who want to beautify their desk space.

Beware pale colors!! (They will make flaws so much more obvious)
UPDATE: The surface of this desk pad is a very nice-looking and feeling fake-leather. Fine… except that that texture also makes it very easy for things to stick and they are not easy to get off. I have been used to a smoother formica-style desk surface and am used to being able to clean it off without effort as it was completely smooth and tough. This surface doesn’t work that way, and it’s pretty easy to damage the surface if you try to hard. Even using a fingernail to try to loosen something can mar the surface. As indicated below, I think this is a good product. However, I selected the ‘pale grey’ (which almost perfectly matches my desk surface) and I’m going to order a ‘dark blue’ one because I think the dark color will hide things like minor discolorations as I won’t try so hard to keep it looking perfect as I think less will show on the dark color. Of course, if you never eat or drink or let a ball-point pen point touch the pad, you’ll be fine. I did that with a pen, just a tiny little dot, but on the pale grey it stood out.For roughly $12/13 this is a very nice product. I got the light gray color as I wanted something that would ‘disappear’ and my desktop is almost excactly that color. Mine, and I assume all, has a textured finish. It looks and feels nice, though if you spill anything it will be a bit more tedious to clean. I like the fact that it has just a little bit of thickness, but not much, as I got it so that I could rest my hands on the desk while using a mouse but I didn’t want anything (like a padded mouse wrist rest) that would elevate my hands more. This provides just the amount of softness that I needed.One thing to be ready to do: It arrives rolled up (and nicely boxed) and when you unroll it the end that was on the outside will relax pretty much on its own, as will the rest of it. However, the end that was the inside part of the rolled-up pad gets a little bit… kinked, maybe, and I found that putting things like heavy books completely covering that end and the few inches, and leaving them overnight helped flatten it out nicely. I mention this because my first thought was that maybe it wouldn’t flatten out but I figured with over 50,000 good reviews it probably just needed some help and it would be fine, and it has been.

Affordable, Perfect for WFH
I got this for my WFH office, and it works great! It’s a very affordable desk mat/mouse pad, and with the variety of color options (I chose black), you can get a color that matches your office. The mat however did come rolled up, but I just laid it open flat with a few books and a keyboard on it, and it now lays perfectly flat (no edges curling up). It’s a great mat that’s much more cheaper than the area office stores in my area.

This came with an excellent packaging. And product is just as expected, really good quality rubber, giver Good grip. Perfectly accommodates my laptop, mouse, keyboard and mobile. also very easy to clean this, just wipe it. Liked this very much. Worth for money.
