Small but works
The frying pan is on the smaller side but will work for just me & my husband. Unpacking it there was a strong chemical smell that didn’t go away until washing it before use. It is easy to use and I found that it heated up fast. The handle on the lid and the handles on the side are not the highest quality plastic and feel a bit flimsy. There are some gaps between the handles and the pot in places. And there is extra plastic hanging on all the legs. Like I said it does work; it’s just not quite the size or quality I was expecting.

Tiny replica of an old-school staple
This little electric skillet seems like a pretty awesome item. I got it for my mom, who lives with me, and has a sort of “in-law” suite, with a kitchen sink and a little counter and a fridge. But no stove.I thought this would be awesome for her to use in there.It’s size is wonderful! Nice and deep, but with a small footprintCould definitely fry 2 eggs in it, of 3-5 bacon strips.It will hold enough liquid like a soup or chili, for 2 or even 3 people.The power cord is pretty old school. It’s exactly like the ones the full-sized electric skillets used, back in the 70s 80s, and I wish it didn’t have that all-important proprietary cord. If it gets lost, you’re done! Plus, the metal insert you plug into the skillet gets hot during use, so when you pull it out, be cautious.It’s super easy to use; just plug in and set your desired heat setting with the dial.I was concerned about it getting hot on the counter underneath it, during use, like the older ones sometimes did, but the countertop stayed perfectly cool, for the time it took me to boil a quart of water, (which took about 4.5 minute to get to a simmer, and 7.95 min to get to a rolling boil on its highest setting.Not too bad.The round metal plate on the underside, however, DOES get hot. It hovers only about a 1/2 inch from the countertop surface, yet, somehow the counter stayed cool.So, I would be vigilant about letting anything touch the underside of the skillet while in use.All in all, I am very happy with it, and I think it will work just great for my mum in her tiny space!

Smaller than expected
I was a little shocked with the size, I read the dimensions but didn’t realize the width included the handles so this is quite small. It would work great for a one person household. I wish instead of numbers (1-5) on the temperature control dial it had actual temperatures in Fahrenheit.I cooked a chicken breast in it and it worked as expected, it cooked evenly and clean up was fast. The size makes it easy to store.

Works well
This is a great little electric skillet. Much smaller than I expected (remembering the one my mom had) but I like the higher sides on this one. I haven’t tried out all the functions yet, but our hamburgers cooked quickly and evenly. It’s easy to clean, even though it’s not immersible, and the smaller size makes it easier to store.

Great for one person
Just as described, this pan makes cooking for one a breeze. I was able to fit a chicken breast, green beans and potato wedges all at the same time. It’s easy to use and easy to clean, and the pan seems to heat with uniformity – edges and corners cook at the same rate as the center of the pan. I love that it’s travel friendly, I often camp with a generator and can’t wait to see how this holds up there. Would not recommend for more than one person (or two if they eat light) as it is on the smaller side, but would absolutely purchase again.

Basic and simple
The AORAN Electric Frying Pan with Lid is small and simple. It is one of those portable cookware that can be used in a small apartment or a dorm. My daughter is starting college in the Fall and I am going to let her bring it with her. It is nice for cooking a quick breakfast. She also tried grilled cheese sandwiches and it worked well. It is small and doesn’t occupy much space.
