This camera is a great buy. It is less expensive than comparable models and has great video and audio; The installation is simple and the compact size makes it an attractive addition to the monitor. It is great for my business ZOOM calls.

Great camera at great price point
Needed a webcam for joining a 12 step zoom meeting. The quality is great, it was super easy to install, and had good functionality. The only thing i have issue with is that if the usb cable is pulled even closer to taught, the grip on the monitor comes loose… not enough to make me lower the star rating, but would definitely recommend a small tripod for this camera.

Clear video and strong mic pickup, mounting could be better for thicker monitors.
This is a great camera with clear video and strong mic pickup. It has auto-focus and cool privacy shutter. Easy setup, just plug and play with mac.My only gripe is that I have a BenQ RD320UA monitor that is thicker than 2 inches so the camera cannot be mounted securely (see photo). It just sits there and if ever the monitor jolts hard, the camera will fall.

For the price, works pretty good
I’m not an expert on web cams, and haven’t really found one yet that I love. My first one works OK, but not well in low light, so I bought this Anker Brand C200 2K one that looks pretty cool. My friends suggested a gamer web cam, but I passed on that notion, cause I’m not really that into webcams. I use them for online meetings with customers, and that’s it.Setup on my new Mac Mini M2 Pro was pretty easy, I think I just plugged it in and it worked. Tried in with the Apple Photo Booth App and it looked pretty good; much better than the one at the office, and the more light the better it worked. Then I switched camera sources and used my iPhone 12, and that shocked me, in how clear the picture was (Looked like 4K, but I don’t have 4K glass). So now I’m thinking or playing with the notion of getting the 4K version of this camera. I don’t think it was that much more than what I paid for this camera. This C200 starts to fail in auto focus, and the image gets a little blurry or artifacts when the light gets lower, and comes back to life when you pump up the light sources again.For the price, if you can find a good price ($50 USD), the camera or Anker C200 is a bargain and will get the job done, presenting your image with clarity and speed. The red shutter is pretty cool, turns off the camera and blocks the lens, so you don’t see a red video image. It feels like it’s built tough and durable, perhaps take a few drops on concrete. The build quality is really nice, it’s not cheap feeling, and it fits the top of my monitor (Dell U2722D) and doesn’t move on me, or fall off.Not sure if I’m keeping it yet. I can get another C200 and have 2 webcams, one for each computer at home (Mac/Windows), or try the 4K version that has “AI”, and see what that looks like, with the drawback of the “AI” software perhaps making things more complicated than I want, which is why I didn’t buy the gamer webcam. I’m probably leaning towards buying one more C200 for my PC and call it finished. The image quality is good enough for me not to be ashamed of in meetings, and is still a huge step up from other webcams. I have nothing bad to say about the Anker C200 webcam.

Great camera, worth the price (but better when it’s on sale).
I like Anker, I have several products from them and they always deliver. This camera is replacing my older Logitech C920. This camera provides excellent image quality, I’m not sure I can tell the difference between 1080 and 2k myself, but either way it looks great even if I don’t. My Logitech only did 1080, so this is a little bit of an upgrade. You can stick it to a tripod, that’s cool. You can rest it on the top of your monitor and adjust it with ease, that’s cool too. All those things were features my previous camera had as well. The privacy shudder is nice. A lot of people list that as a big selling point. My Logitech camera had a little clip on piece that folded over the lens. The shudder on this one is built in and it looks cool when you open and close it, but it’s not particularly innovative. I usually have a dedicated microphone though so I haven’t used the camera mic extensively. From the few tests I’ve ran with it, it seems to do pretty well. I wouldn’t stop using my dedicated Samson Q2u in favor of the camera mic, but for meetings and conference calls it’s nice. It’s not super feature rich, but if you download the Anker software you can adjust the frame, resolution, and zoom level, among other things. Works well with discord, I imagine it works well with Zoom or Skype, or whatever else. It also does okay in less than optimal lighting. I usually see it listed at $60 and it’s worth the price. Sometimes it dips into a sale price closer to $50 which makes it a no brainer.

Eindelijk een goede webcam op mijn Mac Studio computer. Doet het direct goed, wordt gevonden in ieder communicatie-programma (Zoom, FaceTime, Jitsi Meet, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Skype, OBS, StreeamLabs, etc.) Kwaliteit zichtbaar beter dan de ‘gewone’ 1920×1080. Weer eens een ander uiterlijk. En: een ingebouwde aan/uit-knop. Na jaren fröbelen met goedkope chinese dingen nu eindelijk iets dat het meteen goed doet, zonder idioot duur te zijn.
