Tall, reasonably stable, and good price.
When I was standing the unit up it felt kinda flimsy. But once it was setup and properly locked in place it actually stands pretty well. It’s nice n tall and can be used at a short height too. I use mine for my projector. It’s perfect for that. I can adjust as needed to get the best placement and good projector angle. It’s nice that it comes with a carrying case and can be packed away. Overall a good product for the price.

You get more than you pay for with this one.
I just needed a super cheap tripod that was light and small to pack around, but would still elevate my phone a reasonable distance off the ground. I was dubious on how the quality for the price would be, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. I’ve been using it pretty steadily for a couple of months outside and indoors for holding my phone and it’s been great. (You do need to buy a phone holder separately.) For under $20 it’s been a fantastic deal. it’s small enough that it drops into my pack, and light enough that I don’t notice it’s there at all. Again, it’s fantastic for the price. 5-stars for the utility to price ratio. It’s not 5-star performance, If you need super durability and smooth adjustability you need to pay up for that, but if you just need a quick, cheap tripod to hold a phone this thing is great. The bag that comes with it is decent too and has held up fine. There’s room enough in the bag that I can toss in my phone gripper mount along with the tripod.

    Great tripod for the price!
This tripod is like that one friend who’s always up for an adventure, but secretly wants to go home early. It’s lightweight and easy to carry, but don’t expect it to hold up your DSLR like a pro wrestler. It’s more like a gentle yoga instructor, guiding your camera into a stable pose. The quick-release plate is a bit temperamental, like a cat chasing a laser pointer. Sometimes it works perfectly, and other times it’s like, “Nope, not today.” But hey, for the price, it’s a decent sidekick for your photography escapades. Just don’t expect it to save you from a spontaneous bear attack.

IMPRESSIVE FOR THE PRICE / GREAT ALL AROUND FEATURES
Impressive for the price! quality is there and it has all the features really needed for any camera or video set up.Seems sturdy and opening box was impressive. Quick set up and will pretty much work for any tripod photo video needs.Using this tripod as a back up. Using two tripods with both having a video camera on each. Various views and shooting positions. Have to say, was impressive for price right out of the box. I agree with others on positive review.

Bought this in 2017 and still the best Tripod in 2025
This is hands down the best tripod for all normal scenarios. It’s so lightweight, about 1lb, 0.5kG, 500 grams, better than selfie stick phone tripods. I use this for DSLR with heavy lens and works just fine. Its easy to carry around. Recently I am doing more phone photography, astro photography and was looking for a phone tripod. After trying various; went back to this 50 inch Amazon Basics tripod. Phone tripods look cute, but flimsy, tip over with slight win and break the phone. This tripod is lighter like other carbon fiber etc. tripods for a very low price. Highly recommend this. I bought it originally in 2017 and after 8 years, regular use, its still going strong.

    Good Budget Tripod
I was looking for a budget friendly, but quality tripod for my laser level. I am just a DIY user so I didn’t need anything heavy duty. I was looking for quality construction, height, and easy of storage. This tripod checked all of the boxes. When I have my laser level mounted, it does shake a bit when you are walking close to the tripod on flooring but I haven’t tried with additional weight added to the hook.I have also recently been using the same tripod as a phone holder for recording videos and it’s been working perfect.Overall, this is a quality product and competitive in price and functionality.

    Know What You’re Getting
I like this tripod, but only because it meets my three requirements:* Light weight* Compact* CheapI am not using this for a camera and removed the head (which is not great as far as tripod heads go, but for the price I wouldn’t expect much more). It’s not very rigid, so stuff is going to move around. I bought it to support an AlexLoop ham radio magnetic loop antenna, and it does. If it wiggles in the breeze, I don’t care. It packs up small and fits in the water bottle pocket on my backpack, and I like the little bag it comes with.Overall, it’s pretty flimsy so be careful with it. There’s a reason the price is so low.

I was worried this wouldn’t work for me, and the few bad reviews had me a bit shook but I took a chance and it is great for the price! I have a canon sl1 so it is a lighter weight dslr to begin with; so I can’t speak on how well this would work for a heavier camera, but it is stable and I had no issues setting it up or swivelling the camera like others said they had problems with. When I set the tripod up I did swivel it /rotate it before putting my camera on it, and I found that if you adjust the screws, it loosens it up to your liking (you can set it so it doesn’t swivel at all) and I just warmed it up a bit by swinging it left to right a few times. Once I got the camera on, it swivels smoothly! No issues! I love how you can extend the legs easily, and it packs up into the bag with no issues! Nice and lightweight and easy to use. I’m honestly really happy with the price for what I got, if you run into problems, maybe request a replacement

I’ve gotten Amazon basics products before and I’m never let down. You know you won’t be disappointed. The tripod is lightweight, you can lift it with just 2 fingers. The finish on the aluminum is nice and the tripod looks good to just look at. It’s also versatile you can make many adjustments with the leg height and the head position, so whatever you’re gonna attach to the head you can have it sit at pretty much any angle. All these things and at this price is unbeatable.

The product is of good quality. My husband uses it to mount a computer second screen that has the screw in the back.
