Small, Convenient, and Economical
I purchased the Alpicool C9PT Mini Portable Freezer, 12 Volt Car Refrigerator. The first one I received malfunctioned. It was slow to decrease the temperature and it stalled at 40°F although it was on overnight. Amazon’s customer service swiftly rectified the situation and sent a replacement refrigerator. Although the Alpicool C9PT is small, it does supply portable refrigeration to meet your food, drink, or medication needs. The refrigerator comes with an AC 100-240-volt outlet cord, a 12/24-volt cord, and instructions. The cords are approximately 6 feet. I did not measure them. The instructions are easy to follow. The control panel is well-lit with four easy-to-push control buttons. The power cord is plugged in below the control panel. This side of the refrigerator is well-vented on three sides. The refrigerator is CFC-free with heat insulation. It cools to -4°F based on 77°F room temperature; therefore, it varies. There is a temperature memory function and a three-stage intelligent battery protection system. The instructions are clear as to which battery protection mode to select.I plugged the refrigerator into the Bluetti EB3A power station using the 12-volt cord provided. It can also be powered by an automobile 12-volt/24-volt. Using the Bluetti, with the refrigerator set on ECO mode, the power station used 25 watts to maintain the temperature. To maintain the desired temperature the compressor would come on for about three to five minutes and shut off for approximately twenty minutes. The compressor sound is minimal. It’s a noticeable hum but not overpowering. A small portable fan is louder. I was able to fall asleep with the refrigerator on and remain sleeping as it cycled on and off.The refrigerator’s storage capacity is small but sufficient for one person. I fit four 16.9 ounce water bottles across the bottom of the refrigerator. The bottles were not able to fit in the upright position. The refrigerator is lightweight, easy to pick up, and easy to use in a vehicle or indoors. The refrigerator’s lid closes snugly, tight, and securely keeping the cold inside. I have to use some elbow to break the suction to open it. There are no handles on the Alpicool C9PT. I purchased an insulated carry bag with a shoulder strap for convenience and greater insulation in hot weather. The price for the refrigerator is extremely reasonable for a small compression refrigerator. It took about twenty minutes from plug-in to a cooldown of 36°F. My test was indoors on an Autumn day. My indoor temperature was approximately 78°F. I further tested the refrigerator by setting it down to the lowest temperature of -4°F. That required an additional fifteen minutes approximately. The refrigerator was empty during my testing. The refrigerator arrives well-packaged indicating – this side up. There is an outer box. The Alpicool C9PT is located inside an additional box housed snugly in an upper and lower styrofoam cast. A clear plastic loosely cover the refrigerator. The cords and instructions are in a box located inside the refrigerators cooling cavity. As I use the refrigerator I will update my review.

So far so good. works great. I love that I can now keep things at proper temp while camping without the Ice! Ice takes up so much space and melts so fast. I bought the 16L and it is much bigger then I visualized. The measurements are perfect and correct. Look how much you can fit in the 16L compartment look at pics. You can easily pit a weeks worth of the right foods in here. It will easily go below freezing so keeping things very cold is easy. It has a slight hum while cooling then when it hits temp which only takes a couple minutes it stays silent for long periods. So far I love this thing. If anything changes Ill update my review. It comes with wall plug and car lighter style plug also simple instructions. the lid closes great and locks when closed and unlocks when you touch the lid handle to open. very easy to use, It arrived undamaged and brand new wrapped and secure in box.

My Alpicool, 2nd one
It just got delivered 30 minutes ago 4/7/23. Everything looks good no dents cracks or other visual damage. I researched this fridge on YouTube. They say you should let the unit stand level at least 12 hours before use to allow compressor fluids to settle. This is because in shipping it may have been stored on its side so I’m letting it sit until tomorrow. The instructions doesn’t say to do this, but it makes sense to me. So, I will come back and update this review when I put it to use. I’ve heard good things about Alpicool so I am a little disappointed that the logo is just a peel and stick on tape which has a bubble in it so it’s not adhered very well. However the label doesn’t make it run. Just hoping I haven’t Ben given a cheap knock off. If it works I’ll be happy.UPDATE: it’s the next day so I believe it’s sat long enough. It started right up with my jackery for power. In 10 minutes it went from 64 degrees down to 54 and dropping as I type. It’s on Max at the moment drawing 44w. Switched to eco mode now drawing 29w. It fluctuates just a bit has compressor kicks on and off. Success. I’m happy with it.ANOTHER UPDATE: I’ve had this for one work week. It’s working great. I probably would have done better with the 9liter fridge because it takes up some space in my king cab, but I do plan to use it for camping so it’s ok. Got a fridge thermometer and found that it was actually 30 degrees inside so I set the unit to 41degrees. My concern now is for when the Texas heat ramps up. It’s refreshing to have cold V8, water and fruit cups. It’s working perfectly, as for power supply, that’s a work in progress. My 500 jackery doesn’t last all day.UPDATE OCT 7ThI bought another Alpicool. I put the bigger one in the house. Too big for my new Versa. This one fits perfectly in my back seat. It cools down quickly. It’s a 10L size. It has plenty of space for drinks and my lunch. Working just fine. Thank you Alpicool.

Try it on both power sources
I like the size and weight of this. but the temperature did not maintain at the chosen setting very well when running on ac power in a stable environment. Even though the temp said it was running between 38°f – 42°f it formed ice and froze the lettuce and other fresh veggies. When I tested this on 12v solar power in a variable temperature environment in my RV to see how it would perform I was surprised. I set my target temp to 44°f and placed veggies in paper bags to see if a little insulation would make any difference. It worked GREAT! I was on the fence about whether I would return this as it was a replacement, since the ac power choice did not perform well, but I’m using it in the RV primarily and the power draw on is negligible .The first one I ordered was noisy and froze everything. Since other reviews have stated that it is quiet and temperature holds well, I decided to return the first one and get a replacement to see if the performance is due to a defect of some sort.

Product itself does not seems bad. But amz. ae classification has an error. I purchased two times the item and another brand with smaller capacity delivered. I will return to buy 35 liter which seems more durable. This one is able to cool up to -4 Celsius. but below this level seems impossible. I wait for hours but temperature did not dropped.
