Works as it should!!! Great replacement!
After 13 years my LG washer broke. Replaced the drain pump then now my dryer broke and was not heating. My clothes dryer is a LG DLEX8000V and this replacement works! It was an easy install and I hope it lasts like the original part. But for less than the OEM part, I can’t complain. Make sure to clean the bottom part of your dryer as mine had lints all over and on top of the old heating element assembly. Also check all the mechanisms that makes the dryer run to make sure you won’t be openning the dryer again soon. I ran it for less than a minute after I put everything back together and used my thermal gun to see and it did heat up quickly to 148 degrees. There’s a lot of youtube videos that you can follow online just in case you’re not too confident to tackle the job.

Don’t waste your time
After taking the dryer apart and cleaning out the dust bunnies the element was relatively easy to replace but only lasted for 2 days. I guess you get what you pay for. My recommendation is to purchase the OEM part or replace the dryer which I ended up doing.

I was so scared I would have to buy a new dryer. Then scared again when I realized how much I would have to take apart my dryer to install the new element. But it was easier than I thought and my dryer works like new.

Works Great Just what I needed.
The heater assembly for my samsung dryer came packaged securely without damage. The assembly was pre-wired and ready for me to install. Install took me about 30 minutes to install it and put the dryer back together. The first time I tried to run the dryer the breaker tripped. I thought the new heater was bad. So, I took the dryer apart and realized that I had forgotten to put the blue and yellow wires back on the heating element. When installing the heater I had pulled the yellow and blue wires to the side and tucked them out of the way so they wouldn’t get in the way when I was trying to align the heating element housing. Consequently, I forgot to pull them out and hook them up to the element. So I then put the yellow and blue wires back on the element and put the dryer back together and tried it again and it worked fine. Guess I was in to much of a hurry and not paying close enough attention!

This was exactly like the outgoing part for my dryer! That made the swap very easy!

I could not find the correct one for mine on Amazon, so I took the gamble and got this one with a couple of changes I made it work and it works fine!I used the original harness from the Samsung. The only thing I had to do was switch the wires on the two sensors closest to the back of the machine and extend the wires with the harness that was included. I had to take some tinsnips and cut the deflector shield off the original installed it with self tapping screws, and bend the flaps on the intake of my dryer.Probably not recommended but it’s not stupid if it works right!

Appears to be a quality product that fits like the original. Brought our LG dryer back to life!! Easy to install (watch a you-tube video). Great price in comparison to an OEM from LG.Can’t yet comment on durability, as I just installed today, although I don’t see any reason that it won’t last just as long as the original (18 year old dryer). No more multiple drying cycles to get our clothes dryer.

Worked exactly as expected. Had to do a bit of research to make sure it was the right one, and it was. Changed it myself and have had 0 issues with my drier. If you’re handy you can definitely replace this yourself. It’s pretty straight forward.
