Exact replacement for my Samsung dryer
I posted a question before ordering this to make sure the back insert was included because the center plastic piece is what broke on my dryer control knob and the sellers pictures did not include a photo showing this. I did not get a response and fixed my knob by gluing the broken plastic piece on, taped over the repair and glued over the tape, and it’s been working fine according to my wife.I ordered this anyway just to answer my own question and so that others with the same question would have an answer. Somehow my question got deleted.Anyway the control knob is complete with the back insert. My washer control knob looks the same too, so if that breaks I have a quick replacement. I know glue is much cheaper and I have a lot more left, but my wife does laundry almost daily and to do a proper glue job you have to give it time to set. I also used a small clamp to hold the pieces together and let it set for a few hours. And to give it a little more strength, I taped over the repair and glued over the tape. This is the week point of the knob and I suspect it may break again. This part of the knob either should be metal or have a metal sleeve over the center piece that turns the control.Te knobs look nice and like the original. I am keeping the knobs so I have a quick replacement whether I decide to repair another broken piece or not.

Fits Samsung washer but knob finish was different.
The grey plastic piece on my original washer knob had cracked to pieces so I couldn’t turn it to change settings anymore. These new knobs fit my Samsung washer. Only issue was that these had a chrome finish. The original knob on my washer was more of a nickel/silver finish, but the grey plastic piece on the backs of each knob were exactly the same. I just unscrewed the grey plastic piece I needed from the chrome knob and screwed it to my original knob. It was just four little screws. But it solved my issue. Everything works as it should now.

Went to local store and they wanted $130.00 for one knob. Took a risk and it paid off. Got two knobs here and it fit my DC68 washing machine.Representing YYC
