It is a 12 AWG wire, and it is inexpensive
I bought it on sale, $19 for 100ft. For this money I do not expect it to be copper-plated gold-pressed latinum.And as an electrical engineer, I truly am amazed by all snake-oil tales about Monster cables.It is a good wire, it is true AWG12, it is crimpable, routable, and I am not sure what else would I need for appropriate wiring of a pair of Klipsch Cornwall speakers at 20 feet distances from the amp, that this wore does not have. It does not look like Tiffany’s gold chain, and nor should it.Those who want “oxygen-free copper” and then rave all over the Internet about what sound difference they can hear (that measurement equipment cannot distinguish) may go and spend their $5,000 on one of those snake-oil impregnated wonders of marketing strategies.Good wire. For people with common sense.

The quality of this is good. Used it to power up some Pioneer CS-722 vintage speakers. And also some Polk Audio monitors. Make sure you always cut speaker wire to be the same length going to each speaker.

I bought this to use as a ground plane for CB radio transmission. It was really well priced and less expensive than some smaller wire. It was also thicker than I expected it to be. I may buy some more to run wire to some transducers for my home theater.

This By Far Is The Best Speaker Wire That Can Be Used Fo Home Car And Boat. Just Be Sure To Keep It Away From 2 Way Radio Antennas Because It’s Not Shielded…..
