    great bbq griddle
My kids love it ! We are fan of Korean BBQ and this griddle not only looks nice, it cooks pretty nice as well. It even heats the plate including edges. I don’t even use oil but it is non-stick! I was quite surprised at how well I was able to flip the meat. The one thing I was worried about is the cleaning but it turned out that using wet bounty can easily wipe it clean. Love it!

    Really nice
We needed a new griddle since the one we had was old, worn out, and no longer non-stick. This one looked good.A couple of things I was happy about. The griddle is large with a 12×20 Inch cooking surface. The wood handles are not actually wood but Bakelite so they won’t swell up and crack like wood. The griddle has anti-slip feet to keep it in place on the counter. The detachable controller has the wire plug turned 90 degrees which makes it easier to route the wire out of the way, and the power cord is nice and flexible (but a little short at 2.5ft). I also liked the granite looking non-stick coating with no PTFE or PFOA. Note – The manual says you need to initially run the griddle for 15 minutes on high to cook the protective coating off before using the griddle for cooking. Finally, I like that the cooking surface is not flat but is concave downward toward a one and a half inch grease slot which drops into a pretty large grease tray under the griddle. This makes cooking greasy foods less likely to have the food sit in a pool of grease.Cleaning is OK. The griddle surface is non-stick so basically you clean it by wiping it off with a damp sponge but the griddle, and of course the removal controller, cannot be submerged. The manual says never immerse in water. This surprised me that you cannot partially dip the griddle into water while cleaning. The manual says for safety and to extend its lifespan, it’s recommended to not use the griddle continuously for more than 2 hours. If longer use is needed, turn it off and let it cool for 10-15 minutes before resuming. On the griddle there is actually a warning sticker – 60 minutes “ON” in a two hour period. I expect the two hour time limit is when the controller is not set to maximum and turning the griddle’s heat on and off. I would not run the griddle for more than 60 minutes while the temp is set at max.One note – The detachable controller is shipped inside a cutout of one of the polystyrene foam side pieces. Depending on the side of the box you open you may not see it and think the griddle is missing the controller like I first did. So if you do not see the detachable controller, check the bottom side of the other polystyrene foam piece. So overall a nice griddle.

    The Ultimate Cooking Convenience!
I recently purchased an electric nonstick griddle, and it has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen appliances. From pancakes to bacon to grilled sandwiches, this griddle handles it all with ease. The nonstick surface ensures that food cooks evenly and effortlessly, with no need for excessive oil or butter. Cleanup is a breeze—just wipe it down, and you’re done!

    Efficient
This griddle is amazing! Food residue doesn’t stick to it and it’s very easy to clean. It heats up very quickly, making cooking faster and more efficient. It even has a large drip pan to catch all the grease that may come out while cooking. With this, I can cook a variety of foods without having to make many adjustments. I love the design of this griddle and I can use it for 2 hours straight without having to change the grease drip pan.

Good griddle but heating is not consistent across surface- temps vary across surface
Very big (think storage issue but also surface capacity to cook bigger volume of food) griddle that cannot be fully immersed in water for cleaning. You wipe off the surface and use a soapy cloth to clean it and then wipe dry. The hole in the center of the griddle is a drip hole for all liquids to run off into a removeable hard plastic collection drip tray. It comes with a plug-in heating cord that has an adjustable thermostat dial with 1-5 heat settings. The griddle surface is covered with a simulated-granite-look non-stick coating that you see on a lot of modern non-stick cookware. Using an infrared thermometer, I plugged in the griddle and tested each numbered setting. Setting #1 got to about 350-375 degrees F, testing all the way up to Setting #5 which reached 500-550 degrees F. What I did observe is that the temperature of the griddle surface was not a consistent temp fully across its surface. It was hottest in the center and coolest toward the outside perimeter. This might be good when you want to slide to the outside edges some foods to keep warm while continuing to cook others toward the hotter center. I made some French toast using the #1-2 settings and it did a good job. Haven’t tried burgers yet but that is coming. The drip tray to catch grease, etc. may be problematic if care is not taken. Instructions state you need to add a little water to it to temper the heat from grease catchment to prevent damaging the plastic tray. The drip tray could be washed in the dishwasher top rack. Again, using the Infrared thermometer, I checked the heat beneath the griddle while it was hot on top, and it was not so hot as to melt from the griddle heat. But I can see their point of hot grease etching/damaging the plastic tray if you don’t add water to temper the incoming grease heat. It is such a big griddle to store but I think I will like it better for making pancakes, etc. than when I use a stovetop griddle pan across connected stove burners because my stove burners are even more inconsistent with heat (one burner runs hotter than the other and I have to rotate the pan to keep from burning pancakes). As I use this griddle for other dishes, should my opinion and experience change, I will update my review. But for now, I see this as a good griddle for my griddle needs.

    Works exceptionally well.
This electric griddle works exceptionally well on most, if not all kinds of different foods. The non-stick feature that it provides makes the cleaning process a breeze. The best part about it is how many things that I am able use cook at the same time with this griddle. This works in absolutely amazing standards.
