    Perfect toaster oven baking stone!
First of all in a household of two , we use our toaster oven as our primary baker for all kinds of meals I’m so glad someone other than Pampered Chef offers a toaster oven sized baking stone. This is the right price, fits perfectly, performs exactly as expected. I seasoned mine with canola oil five or six times, brushing it on over one side corner to corner, so that it was totally prepared for baking when I used it the first time. I recommend doing this. Could use vegetable, olive , peanut. Enjoy! I think you’ll love it too!

Great for temperature regulation in an RV/Camper!
This works great for my use of it which is unusual. I didn’t think it would be necessary to even post a review until I was explaining to a friend what I use it for and she insisted that I need to share it for other folks.a woI have an RV camper trailer. RV ovens tend to be small and pretty useless as far as temperature regulation. Well some brilliant person (I’d love to take the credit but can’t) figured out that if you put this stone in the oven on top of the metal plate but still allowing some vent holes to vent, you’d have even baking in the oven AND it doesn’t take up any precious baking space.I couldn’t believe the difference. I made the same recipe twice and was a Meatloaf sheet pan recipe with potatoes and green beans by a woman known as “strawberryblonde” (no, it’s not me, you can search for my username and you’ll see I’m everywhere. The first time I made it everything burned to a crisp on the bottom. I mean, it was stuck like I had poured out super glue and set the food on top of that. Then I went searching for an answer and found someone who suggested a baking stone. I measured my oven again and looked for a stone and this one fit perfectly!I used the stone and made the same recipe and it came out exactly the way it should! I swear by this stone! If you have an RV camper it should fit perfectly into your oven. So! My review will not be helpful for most of you but some of you may find it so. If you wish to read the article I mentioned, you can find a link for it in the comments of this review.

Fits the Coleman Camp Stove Oven.
If you are like me, have one of those Coleman Camp Stove Oven folding thingies, you know they are lousy at keeping temps even. I have been finding tons of Youtube videos where folks are fixing this issue by adding a pizza stone to the bottom of the oven to help even out the heat.A couple of things to note.#1. The stone fits in the bottom of the Coleman oven. Probably a half inch side to side left over, and something like 1″ front and back not covered, but that’s fine, allows for airflow so you are good…#2. Durability is questionable. The stone itself is about 2/3 the thickness of the Pampered Chef model I use at home. Not worried about breaking it in use, but rather in transit. I will probably fab up a sleeve for transporting it out of reflectix.I tested it out with a baking sheet and canned biscuits. This thing did exactly what the Youtube videos show, and evened it out. The biscuits came out perfectly. So now we can bake breads, biscuits and such in camp no problem!

    Great for RV
Our RV / travel trailer / camper has a propane Magic Chef oven. The first use of the oven resulted in uneven heat, and burned my cookies! I searched online and found this solution, and it worked great! Made a second batch of the same cookies this weekend while camping. The heat distribution is much better. It also reduced the propane taste/smell that was on the cookies themselves. Wonderful!

    Wanted to like it…
I have a larger pizza stone which I use in my, well, larger oven. It’s perfect for cooking, well, pizzas. So I think, well, get a smaller stone for heating the leftover pizza slices for the next morning. (Don’t judge me!)The new one arrives in one piece–that’s a good sign; the pizza gods must be smiling in my breakfast arrangements! There’s a slight chemical odor, but, well, that’s ok–it’ll cook off…right? But it doesn’t! Not for the first slices. Nor the next. The pastry I heated up the next time was nice and crispy–but was that a new flavor added in?! And that odor? Is it getting, well, stronger?! It’s becoming, well, a _smell_!Ok, so, cutting to the chase, many months and slices later (don’t judge me!), I’ve given up on the stone because it stinks. Full disclosure: I didn’t give the vendor a chance to make things right because the return date has long since past. Perhaps they are great at customer service: I can’t prove otherwiseSo, being the tightwad that I am, I’m not tossing it yet! This bad boy is going under one of my larger oil lamps as a safety/heat barrier for when the power goes out.And all is well! 😀

Only used it once, so far, and it spreads the heat evenly in the folding oven that I sit over one of my gas burners. My only dislike is that it is now only available in a single unit. I have just seen one that is a double unit.
