Great Safe / Lock box for your guns.
Yes as some have said this is not really the material to make it a true safe and it is not super heavy. But, if you are either willing to bolt it down or you are just looking for something to prevent easy access this is great.Well made, stores finger prints and new master code easily, works every time I try to access it and quickly. It also comes with two backup keys.The only odd thing really is that the keypad is only 1 through 7 so you have to get creative if you want a certain code. LOL They really should have just added three more buttons.I also didn’t like the built in rack. It works but with full sized pistols it sags a bit. Plus it can only be mounted on the bottom of the shelf so it makes the guns take a lot more of the room than needed.I have two hand guns and a couple thousand rounds of ammo in mine. It all fits nicely with a little extra ammo room and room on the after market holder for another handgun. 🙂

Good safe.
Wanting to consolidate two safes and the XDeer looked to be just the right size. Safe has a bit of heft to it and set up was a breeze. I like the keypad, key or USB power options. Batteries go dead and you can’t find a key, connect a USB battery pack and you’re in business.Spacious interior and the gun rack is removeable (mounted under the shelf) to free up space. I would have liked to have seen the shelf being adjustable but it’s not a deal breaker. Same with the keypad not being backlit. I’m sure with use, the combination pattern will become instinctive.All in all, a good safe and I’m pleased with the purchase.

I think this safe is an excellent value for the money and a quality product. It operates perfectly, has ample storage inside and sits on a small table in my office so it takes up minimal space.

Relatively light weight and functions reasonably well
I bought this for the size range and a modicum of security of things like jewelry, documents, etc. It does that well. It would be relatively easy to pry open once someone removed it and worked on it somewhere else. The instructions of use could be improved; took me a few times to get it to function. Don’t forget to put a # key after your pin code :). Keys supplied work. Overall, a good deal for the money. That said, no fire proofing; for that you need to look elsewhere.

Solid safe for handguns!!
My wife and I are so satisfied that we bought this particular safe. This safe has all the bells and whistles that high-end safes offer for a great price. The exterior looks and feels durable. It is a solid safe for handguns and other special items but not too heavy to lift.
