FINALLY! A BOOK OF GUITAR CHORDS I CAN USE
After 5 tries, this one is great. All the chords, jazz chords up to altered 13ths, in all inversions and positions up the neck. Thin chords for lead and rhythm guitar and melodic progressions. I love this book.

Too Bad It’s NOT Spiral Bound!
Like some other people who reviewed this handy, musician friendly priced to-go chord dictionary, I only wish it were spiral bound. It’s not easy to study the chords while holding an acoustic (or likely any) guitar, without the thing closing. So, if you’re just learning guitar, or don’t have the patience to make notes, invest in a spiral bound chord dictionary. However, there is a plethora of chords to explore and play with, easy, standard tablature depictions of the chords, and a very well written introduction to some critical guitar theory in the beginning. I would highly recommend this for guitarists that write out tabs for songs online, since there are so many chords in it, neatly arranged, for new guitarists out gigging or playing with others for the first time, since it’s so light, or songwriters like myself who know most basic chords from memory, but want to spice up their songs with chords that are atypical to avoid constructing melodies we’ve all heard ad naseum. If you want to develop novel melodies, you need to explore as many different chord arrangements as possible. This dictionary will deliver that to you!

Great book for any level guitar players
This book is small so very portable. It has several variations for every chord, so it has been a great resource for me. I would definitely recommend for any guitar player.

    Sooo Compact!
I taught myself to play rhythm guitar many, many, many years ago w/ just a simple chord book. Now I’m getting my nieces & nephew into it and this compact little baby is perfection.

The best chord book I’ve found
I’ve had a few of these over the years. This is by far the best. Where others fall short is they often don’t have more than one or two fingering variations for each chord. This one has four ways to play most chords. Great book and great price.

Love this product, but does take time to thumb through so many chords to find what you’re looking for. Use it every day.

This is a comprehensive book indeed. It has thousands of chords and is a useful reference. The problem is that it has just too many chords. It is the definitave chord library and if that’s what you want this is the book for you. It isn’t a ready reckoner. You won’t be able to make a quick reference when you are stuck at a gig. Just too many chords. Less would do for me.

I wish basic note that combine to make a chord were in one place.

Bought in error (I really must read the description more closely). However, fascinated to see the 1000s of cords that are possible on a guitar. The cords are set out in note order starting at C and going through to B.This really is a reference book (as mentioned on the front) rather than a book to help you learn the guitar. My only quibble is that even though I have only opened it a few times I can see that the bottoms of the first few pages are already coming loose.
