CAMERA/SMARTPHONE vs. SCANNER No More Scan! Now is the time to digitize your photo or documents with your camera or smartphone instead of a scanner. The scanner has been used to create digital files from documents or pictures, but if you want a fine, high-quality scan, your high-resolution digital camera or phone creates a good-quality copy, print, or video. This system is used by museums, libraries, the film & TV industry, video and content creators, PowerPoint, public presenters, documentaries, restoration experts, and sign and graphic shops; Our Copy Stands are available in 4 models. The Mini 100 Copy Stands are designed for smartphones only and the new Mini 300 cameras up to 2 lbs. and phones. All our Copy Stands have a Floating Magnetic Board to keep the documents or photos flat for transferring. Cosmo Mini Copy Stands are small, portable, and the best gift for photography lovers. For macro photography or copying the slides or negatives, you may need to add a lightbox and macro lens or a set of “Close-up Lens” to the front lens of your camera (available on Amazon). For more information about digitizing slides & negatives, you can check the “Convert Old Slides and Negatives to Digital Images with Your Camera” on social media. Also, it is ideal for students’ art schools and jewelry and coin sellers for an online live show. Integrating a remote camera shutter will ensure a perfect and steady shot.
NOW Cosmo Mini 300 Copy Stand comes with a phone holder. It’s small, compact (it is not a professional Copy Stand), and more suitable for amateur applications. It is portable and easy to assemble (less than ONE minute). It supports cameras up to 2 lbs. and most smartphones with a width of 2.25″ to 3.5″. Fully designed and manufactured in the USA. For using a smartphone instead of a camera use the “Cosmo Phone Holder,” (included).
The baseboard size is 12″ x 9.5” x 3/4″ and made of melamine board with a gray finish. It has two installation holes for the post: 1) a center hole for cameras and 2) a side hole to perfectly position the smartphone’s camera at the center of the board.
A $39.95 value 10″ x 7 1/2″ Floating Magnetic Board (FMB) is included. It is made of a layer of MDF, rubber steel, and a laminated printed film with ½” precision grids for initial setting, focusing, sizing, aligning, and adjusting. Included 2 magnetic strips to hold the originals flat on the FMB.
The Steel Post is a unique 1 ½” diameter x 12” height with black wrinkle powder coating.
The NEW ‘L’ bracket is made of harder and thicker anodized aluminum. It is reversible and it can travel vertically from 7” to 17” (camera screw) and two holes with a 1″ distance allow horizontal movements.

Well Made and Practical
I wanted a copy stand that wasn’t too large or too small. This one fit my need nicely. The dimensions are perfect for lugging around and using off site. The build is nice with a sturdy platform or base. the vertical post is very sturdy and bolts onto the platform either in the center or off center. The camera bracket can be used either angled down or up for a bit more distance (which is how I used it). The unit comes with a cell phone holder and a grided magnetic plate if needed.

Nice Stand – Made in USA
This stand works great. Seems to be good quality. Made in USA is great. Seems a little bit pricey but you get what you pay for.

Solid as a rock
Extremely solid construction. The stand is very easy to assemble…tools included. It is a VERY solid design…no wiggling, which is excellent. The brackets are very beefy and strong, too. Excellent design and materials.

Great copystand
Works great when I shoot my artwork.

Excellent for the price, not too big and cumbersome.
It is very nice. I had a little trouble assembling it as I had one or two screw parts reversed on the main pole, but after correcting it it is very stable. It supports my Lumix FZ1000 easily. It has a nice magnetic grid and holder strips for centering your photos and your camera. I taped the grid down on the main board so it wouldn’t keep shifting. It is worth the price.

Good product, just a small design flaw.
The L support angle (the one that holds the camera) is made from 3/16″ steel. It should be a little thicker, I would suggest moving-up to 1/4″, since it it not sturdy enough and moves slightly when accessing the camera controls, including manual focusing. It will not move if you use the camera’s timed shutter or an external camera release. I tried it with another L-bracket and it was perfect. Otherwise, a good product, well made and easy to use.

Solid and well-made
This is a good choice for a small format copy stand. The parts are of excellent quality and assembly is simple. I recommend that buyers purchase a small circular level to help adjust cameras and phones to be perpendicular to the base. I have a Photomyne light panel that sits nicely on the platform. I had to build a raised platform of 4″ with a piece of frame glass and wood to get the right distance for smartphone slide copying to focus, but that was easy and could have been done with other materials. I am happy with the purchase.

Too small
Needs more flexibility for adjusting camera for the height for macro
