My grandpa and I are trying to learn Nahuatl, and we’re happy that everyday phrases and conversations are in the book because it’s extremely difficult trying to put things together by yourself if you don’t have an instructor.

It’s literally a dictionary. Which is great but not really informative on how to put together sentences. I am learning tho and for that I am grateful. I advise having this as a core of language learning and purchasing more books to back you up

Helpful Nahuatl book for beginners
This book I found to be useful it helped me figure out how to pronounce some stems of the word and the first 40 pages teach you in grammar so you can get the basics of the language, I give this book five stars!

Nahuatl is my fifteenth second language I have studied. My languages are all from the top spoken languages in the world. But I wanted to learn a native American language, and so I chose Nahuatl to start for several reasons.What I have found reading this book, is that it compares well with concise bilingual dictionaries I have from other languages. Generally dictionaries contain a grammar guide, and this one does. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the grammar guide holds up well by my standards for language learning material in a concise bilingual dictionary. I was prepared for something a lot spottier. A concise dictionary, for those who don’t know, only gives the translation and not examples or definitions, and usually comes with a smaller price tag, as at about $17, this one is as described.What I would like to see is more complete dictionaries, with definitions, larger in size. I have other material I am going onto after this, and I suspect that in the next few years the material available for Nahuatl will grow rapidly. Information on different dialects in a bigger dictionary that is hopefully in the making somewhere would be great as well, both in the grammar section and the definitions. But for a small concise bilingual dictionary, this one is spot on. I was so very pleasantly surprised by how this book was in line with the quality of concise dictionaries I have gotten for other languages.a definite five stars!

Das Wörterbuch bietet einen guten und umfassenden Einblick in den Wortschatz. Man muss natürlich des Englischen mächtig sein und teilweise hilft es, die englischen Synonyme nachzuschlagen, alles in allem bin ich aber sehr zufrieden.Der Grammatikteil wird der komplexen Grammatik nicht gerecht und schafft es nicht, Sonderregeln und Eigenheiten ausreichend darzustellen, dies ist aber bei einem Wörterbuch auch nicht notwendig und somit gibt es hierfür keinen Abzug.Das Preis- /Leistungsverhältnis empfinde ich hier als sehr positiv (ca. 18€).
