Basic keyboard functionality, laser pointer, and volume control but no mouse functions.
This pointer has a lot going for it. It’s a good size that fits in your hand, but lightweight and easily slips into a pocket. It uses a rechargeable battery and charges with a USB-C cable (included), so no batteries to replace. It comes with a storage pouch that prevents it from getting scratched up during your travels.The remote contains a magnetically-attached receiver that’s double-sided, so it can plug into a USB-A port or a USB-C port. The remote functions from 40+ feet away (and probably farther but my house isn’t big enough to test that). The buttons include forward, backward, and (on Windows computers) enter and exit slideshow mode. There are also volume up and down buttons, and a laser pointer button. The laser pointer is very bright; I could see it on the tops of trees across my neighbor’s yard at night, over 50 yards away.The instructions state that there’s a way to make the arrow buttons on the remote function in 3 modes, as either “Previous Page / Next Page”, or “Page Up / Page Down”, or “Left and Right”. You switch between these modes by pressing both the left and right buttons simultaneously for two seconds. The LED will blink to denote the mode change. I was able to verify that the keys do change as stated by using a keyboard testing web page. The remote always starts in “page up / page down” mode when you power it on. Holding the buttons for two seconds then changes to “up / down” and then “left / right” before going back to “page up / page down” again.One feature that this remote is lacking is the ability to control the mouse pointer or click a mouse button, so if you need mouse functionality this device won’t work for you. However, this is a great little remote that gets most jobs done, and at a cost that won’t break the bank.

Tired of watching someone struggle
Last month, my manager did a group presentation trying to use a touch screen, which involved him having to bend over to advance the slides, and he kept accidentally right-clicking on things. This month…same thing, so along came this product, and it is able to go back/forward and has a laser pointer too, and I’m assuming the button above the arrows is more useful once the user gets involved with the software for the pointer. I tried pushing it with Windows 10 highlighting a photo in a folder of images, and it did something, consistently, that I haven’t seen before, but didn’t really wow me or seem productive. That button will likely be a surprise when the time comes, and I’m excited for this pointer

Feels very cheap
I think presentation remotes should look “okay” but this one draws attention to itself and that’s a bad thing. It looks (and feels) so cheap and ugly in real life. But it works as advertised

Works well! Nice design.
Very happy. Lovely simple design. My concern was that I expect something like this to work out of the box, regardless of what device I’m on. Sat down with my ipad pro, pulled up Keynote, set this up quickly and it worked immediately. That’s all I can say – it works, and it didn’t tick me off in the process. No nonsense about iOs vs Android vs whatever. It just worked. For that I give it 5 stars and definitely recommend it. Also, my dog loves chasing the pointer.

Works like a champ
This presenter is exactly what I needed for presentations and teaching/training. The controls are very basic and simple, which is exactly what I wanted. With the USB A / USB C included dongle there is no bluetooth connectivity to worry about, it just works. The included USB dongle houses in the end of the unit by magnetism, which makes stroage and removal as easy as possible. I highly recommend ths item.
