Returning to college in my 40s, I have discovered so much that has changed since I went out of high school. For my degree, a strong statistics background is required. I had not thought about statistics in over 20 years. I decided to retake the class, and wow how much has changed in the way we learn and the overall goal of what we learn. Today statistics consists of learning many different analytics programs. Sometimes it was overwhelming. This calculator was my go-to in college the first time around, and I am so grateful that it still is today. Today there are so many instructional videos online, so you have the capability of learning to maximize the capabilities of this calculator. I will save it for my kids to use in college. These calculators last literally for many years.

Ti -83 plus
Easy to use, a bit hard to master. Lots of reading and learning if you want to put apps and program it. Ultimately worth it. Doesn’t come with the usb cable to connect to your PC though which is a bit of a shame.

This was required for my son’s Statistics class. It was $85 and I hesitated, and it has turned out to be a godsend. Display is excellent, it’s easy to use and has many advanced capabilities. Highly recommend
