May not allow the use of third party cartridges.
I was using third party ink on my printer. After I accepted a firmware update from Epson, my printer will not recognize the ink cartridges.When I contacted Epson for support, they told me that after the update I can only use genuine Epson (more expensive) ink. (BS)They refused to restore my original firmware.
