Great value, keystone pretty useless, love this unit!
This Happrun projector is worth every penny. My last projector cost 4x as much and was only about 1/4 better in quality — if that.Image quality is about the same, with the happrun actually beating out my old one considerably in noise reduction and sharpness settings. The haprun has better sharpness at the edges when I get it set up just right (see below,) but the top left and bottom left corners are still a little soft after doing everything I could to ensure a good setup. (Not a deal breaker for me.)The fan on this happrun is half as loud as my old one, which is great. The little hatch you can open on the bottom of the unit to easily clean the lens and screen is wonderful! I had to disassemble my old one to clean it, which meant there were often dust spots on our movie screen because it was such pita to maintain the machine. All projectors should be this easy to clean. The lightweight design is great. Not only is it portable, the standard tripod screw hole in the bottom makes it possible to just stick this on any tripod or light stand for quick setup and takedown. The speaker is actually loud enough to overpower the fan. I’ll never use it because I use a soundbar or headphones. The speaker is tiny and sounds hollow but it’ll work in a pinch of you need it.I only use HDMI so I can’t speak to other connectivity features of the device. The one area this projector lacks in comparison to my old one is the keystoning feature. My old one offered four point digital keystone correction, while this haprun only features vertical keystone by means of a wheel. Yeah, you can use the wheel to square up your image if you can’t get the projector level with your screen but I don’t recommend it if you actually want to enjoy what this projector can offer. Any slight adjustment of the keystone wheel will make everything go out of focus from the center of the image to the bottom or top edge, depending on whether you’re adjusting the top or bottom with the keystone. You absolute MUST get the projector level with your screen left to right because there is no horizontal keystone. If you move the keystone wheel, you may find yourself having a devil of a time getting your image in focus again because there’s no markings printed on the machine to tell you where to return the keystone wheel exactly to center. I got mine as close to perfection as possible by adjusting the focusing wheel until the edge of the image that was NOT altered by the keystone wheel was as sharp as I could get it. Then I adjusted the keystone wheel until the opposing edge of the image was in equal focus. On my copy, doing this resulted in a sharp center as well. Once the image was in focus corner to corner, I just angled the body of the actual projector to straighten the image on the wall, ignoring the keystone altogether. To enjoy this projector most, you’re gonna want to avoid using the keystone at all, which means you’ve got to have the projector perfectly level with the surface you project it on. I already owned a good tripod with a ball head mount that allows me to position the projector however I need to. If you don’t have something to set it on or a way to mount it, you might not enjoy the image quality as much. All in all, I’m very happy with this purchase! If you’re on a budget this is a perfectly acceptable TV replacement for watching movies or cinematic shows that deserve a big screen. At this price, you really can’t go wrong. You just need a way to mount it and a little knowledge on how to set it up to get the most out of it.Oh, also, I went over to YouTube and used “projector test patterns,” to get mine into focus and to help me adjust the color, brightness, and contrast. I highly recommend using those. It’ll make your setup process way easier and give you a better looking image.

Finally, we found a winner.
This budget projector outperformed our expectations and healed our disappointments in other brands we tried.Colors are true and crisp. The image is sharp and bright, fully adjustable in tilt, size and elevation, and REMEMBERS that we use it through HDMI. Other competing models from other brands required us to have a second remote (and ugly menus), but this one launches directly to our media system in the HDMI hookup at power-on.It was a true 1080 HD, not just a false claim. The unit is sturdy, stylish, and is slightly bigger than other competing models, but this houses a bigger lens with better picture quality. We’re so thrilled and relieved to have found such a great home media powerhouse solution at an affordable price.

Good for the price but not a great experience
it’s solid for a very cheap projector and works decently given the price.HOWEVER, it is a very cheap projector so it’s pretty dim on a normal white wall in a mostly dim room. If you use a high reflective screen in a pitch black room it will look a lot better but it’s by no means an inky black vibrant experience. It’s more applicable for a kid to show their friends the kids movies in their bedroom.Keystoning wasn’t an issue for me as it let me manually adjust and I was able to get it perfect for where I was showing the image. Auto keystone would have been nice and the ability to adjust left and right side independently would be nice but it wasn’t as important to me.Image clarity however was seemingly much worse than I would have liked. I kept cleaning the lense to see if it was me or it was dirty. I was constantly trying to focus the image but it’s just low resolution blown up larger that makes for blurry image and text.Running a Win desktop on the laptop was doable for launching a movie but there is no way I could work on it and be productive unless the screen was around 20-30″. I scaled the movie down to around 40″ for my daughter and it was better but watching a gorgeous movie like Mufasa The Lion King was dull and uninspiring compared to a nice LED LCD with vibrant colors.Overall it works just fine and a fun and inexpensive projector to play around with and eventually give to the kids but it will by no means replace your TV or bright high resolution projector.

Freakishly watchable, not a toy, this is a legit projector
I watched a few videos about budget projectors under $100. I was really looking for something to test image size, brightness in a dark room, etc, for a more serious projector purchase in the future in a dedicated room. I landed on this Happrun H1 because it just consistently had a great image in the reviews compared to other models and was well under $100. $63 to my door with some coupon. I had no expectations for this thing, I figured it would be a toy, but it’s not. It’s a legit projector. Totally watchable. I threw a white blanket on the wall, put the Happrun on a camera tripod and raised it up and did a full 120″ diagonal image on the wall. I turned on its bluetooth output to a bluetooth receiver to some large speakers and a sub and it was a wireless deal to get a big image and big sound. I used a Roku stick to be the streamer on the projector. Everything works without fuss. The audio has no lag and so everything just works and looks great. It’s surprisingly bright and has great color for a $63 LED projector with a 120″ image like this. Freakishly watchable. And will be great for outside in the dark too (my ultimate goal for this coming up this summer). Attached images are just phone shots in the dark to show brightness, contrast, color of the Happrun’s 120″ image on a blanket on the wall for $63.

Superou minhas expectativas, amei.

I bought this thing for my wedding because it was cheaper than a rental. I had set my expectations pretty low, but after playing with it, it’s going to become a permanent fixture of my entertainment setup. The image holds up pretty well in a moderately lit room, and looks quite good in a dark setting. I plug my Steam Deck and some old retro game consoles into it, and have very little to complain about. This thing does in fact do 1080p as advertised, and has some decent image settings you can use to tune the image. I’ve maxed the image out to about 100 inches, and it still looks good, although the marketing suggests you can get to 200 inches, but I’m curious to see if the quality holds up. What actually surprised me was the decent quality and loudness of the speaker. It’s definitely not going to win any awards, but it’s useable and gets pretty loud. The included remote works well enough and is convenient. They also provide an AV adapter to connect older devices, and the 2 USB ports work well for powering devices such as HDMI upscalers, or a Firestick. Overall a steal for $100 and probably one of the few projectors in this price point that actually doesn’t lie about the specifications and feels like some level of care went into the design. You don’t have Android built into it with apps at your disposal like some of the other units you’ll find on Amazon, but you get a very adequate LED projector with a good image. The value proposition is excellent.
