My husband’s MAC would not print wirelessly when we changed our ISP. I suggested we get this splitter so he could hard wire the printer. Mine was already hard wired. We also had to get a long USB-A extension so it would reach. Product arrived promptly and in good shape. Hooked all up temporarily to make sure it would work. Voila, both our computers printed fine. Routed the extension around the walls and replugged into his computer. He tried to print the next day, and nothing. His computer recognizes the printer so we don’t know what the problem is. Tried unplugging, replugging, checking connections, etc. Disappointed, we thought this was the solution. It makes no sense. Other than that, the button to switch over from one to the other is a little confusing as it’s not immediately obvious which computer it’s coming from. I am updating this review: the splitter is working with my husband’s MAC, it just won’t print Google sheets type documents. Hopefully this information will help others. Upgrading to 4 stars. would give 5 if that button was easier to see whether it’s in or out.

Excellent Solution for Both my Laptops
I have a home laptop, and a work laptop that I bring home. My work laptop does NOT have a WiFi card in it per company policy. So I bought this splitter so that all I have to do is plug the cable into the work laptop and press the button and print. When done, just press the button again, and my printer is connected back to my home laptop. Very handy device to have, and affordable. Nicely done!
