Strongs Dictionary of the Bible
The Strong’s Dictionary works very good on my Kindle. I found this book to be a great tool for my Bible study. A wonderful resource. Took me a while to index the dictionary, but the word search is very fast. No Hebrew or Greek characters but other than that it is identical to my Strong’s printed copy.

must have reference material
Great resource and delighted to have it available on the go on kindle! So much less unwieldy to use than the printed heavy thick text. This with a regular Webster’s dictionary app, my Bible with cyclopedic references in the back, and a journal for my notes & I can study ANYWHERE! Poolside is GREAT!!!

This is a necessary addition to every student of the …
This is a necessary addition to every student of the Bible’s library. One must learn how the Bible uses words to convey thoughts, ideas and principles in both the new and old Testaments. Too often modern men and women use words thinking they convey the same ideas today as they did 2,000 or 3,500 years ago. Modern translations which most times are really paraphrases do little but muddy the waters. If one is to really study the Bible they must study deeply into the words and they will find a rich source of information and guidance not available to the casual reader.

Not a good purchase
I purchased this to go on my Kindle to assist in studying Scripture. However when I went to look up a word, there were question marks throughout. There are meanings but no words to go with them.

My first review was not fair. I now will change to a higher rating
The first review I gave concerning the program was very low, considering I was not knowledgeable about how to fully use it. But having more knowledge of the book I must retract my rating and place it into a four-star review. In the beginning, I could not figure out how to enter a word search. I now can do such and need to raise my rating. I actually have the same information on my bible program and I love it. Even though the kindle edition is not as easy to use, It is very helpful in research. Highly recommend!

An invaluable aid in Bible study
It is helpful to know the meaning of words in the language the Bible is written in. There are other things to keep in mind when determining meaning of words, such as, the context, the culture, and conformity to other scripture, so one should use caution in ascribing a certain meaning to individual words.

Strong’s Bible Dictionary
A very useful item for trying to do Bible research. Definitions are helpful in aiding understanding. I use my Kindle app on my iDevices and have had no trouble downloading my books into any of them.

The publishers have done a great job making a Kindle version, perhaps as I use it more I will get used to the way it works. Excellent resource for those wishing to deepen their study of the Bible.
