A great and handy little reference
A great and handy little reference. I used it to be able to communicate simply in Germany, but for nitty gritty or detailed translations I used google translate. The thing is, this is a good guide to quickly learn and use simple phrases so that you can be polite and communicate quickly and efficiently when walking around. I recommend it.

Like all of Rick Steves books, this phrasebook is really great! Small and easy to pack, yet chock full of word and phrase translations. Words and phrases for all occasions. It was a great help on our latest trip to Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Would recommend this book.

Rick Steves Delivers!
This book will be very useful on a trip to Germany, since I don’t have time to learn all I would like to before I travel. About the size of a postcard (but fatter), so easy to carry in a small-ish bag. Very clear sections make it convenient to flip the area you most likely need to access to help you communicate. Rick Steves delivers!

Awesome phrase book
I love this book . I traveled to MUNICH with it. Small enough to fit in my front pocket . It has everything in there for you to get around in Germany , hotel language , trains, restaurants, even cuss words ! It teaches you all the German phrases you need to know.
