Pretty good
It has 2 sided printing but not 2 sided scanning, which is a little awkward. Overall it works pretty great. It survived a lightning strike near the house, though all of the networking gear and this guy’s networking port got hosed. Despite the networking port going dead, it still works just fine in WIFI mode. This replaced my refillable ink jet printer, which required maintenance basically every time I used it. This laser printer, on the other hand, is always ready and hasn’t needed any manual maintenance at all.

After several months I still like it.
It was easy to set up and works well. No problem using it from any of my devices. Guests who I allow on my network also have no trouble using it. Print quality is good. It is smaller than many other laser printers so it actually fits where I need it be.

Just wow. Blown away by the quality of this printer
This printer works perfectly. It handles all the copy/scan/print jobs I’ve thrown at it. No issues like other reviews mentioned. Second laser printer by cannon, first was a monochrome printer, it still works, I have it in my business office, I got this color laser printer to replace the color inkjet that was dieing in my home office. Go cannon!**UPDATE** 11/28/22 The printer is working perfectly, still no problems like the other reviews mention. It’s Beginning to make me wonder what those reviewers did wrong in the set up process, but then again I hooked it up via Ethernet and not Wi-Fi, we have been through 3 DSL internet modems since I bought the printer and I have yet to have it ignore input or not be found on the network, the worst thing this has done so far, is it didn’t start printing a document for me until I touched the screen and woke it up, and that has only happened once.***UPDATE 7/11/23*** Not a thing wrong with this printer, no printing problems, no network problems, Prints come out looking perfect, picture prints look like real pictures, all the built in functions work perfectly, I still have yet to replace a toner cartage on it, and the original review was done after only one week of owning this. I can’t fathom what the other reviewers did wrong, or if they’re modem just doesn’t like the printer, but please, do yourself a favor, if you need a color laser printer with all in one functionality, get this printer, almost one year old and still perfect. GO CANNON!!!!!!!!

Prints great – just don’t try to use it on a local network!
This printer has great print quality! That is where it stops! I will NEVER purchase another Canon product. The printer has a VERY hard time staying connected to the LAN. EVERY time there is a power outage (we have had several only a few seconds duration as they are building new homes all around us) this stupid thing disconnects from our LAN. And there is NO operational manual for it. The button that is named that tells me that I need to find the IP address, blah blah blah! However, it does not provide any information on where to find it or where to input it once I do find it. I have had hours of trial and error getting it to connect again… In addition, when it is connected, it is very difficult to scan to the computer. When it does scan, it drops whatever image is generated on the desktop with a name of “image1.pdf” escalating the number with each scan. There are several icons on the menu screens that would seem to help but are so confusing that I don’t have time to mess with it. So, I just let it do its thing and then I copy, drop it where I need it to be and rename it. (So much EXTRA work!) I would not recommend this stupid thing to anyone.

An excellent printer!
[Updated on May 13, 2023] Changing my overall rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. Reason being: after the first couple of days the printer failed to connect/stay connected to Wi-Fi. Fortunately, because this printer is setup in my home office and I don’t print from a mobile device (e.g., laptop, tablet, or phone), I connected the printer to my stationary PC using a wired connection (CATV cable). The printer now works flawlessly, every single time. And, the print data is received by the printer much faster (I’d say less than 1 second). If my printer required a Wi-Fi connection, then I’d probably be sending this printer back. But because I’m able to use a wired connection, I definitely will be keeping this printer. It prints fantastic![Original review]This printer provides exceptional printing quality, offers many easy-to-use features, and has a relatively easy setup process. Within 15 minutes of unpacking the printer, I was able to print in color, scan a document to my computer (a multi-page PDF), and configure the printer settings to my liking. The printer is connected to my computer via Wi-Fi. My computer runs on Windows 7. The printer is no more noisy than my previous Brother brand inkjet printer. I have zero regrets on purchasing this printer. Highly recommended!

Love This Thing!
Now, I must admit, I got this printer on sale, but at the time it was around the same cost as ink jet printers with the same functionality (and boy I’ve grown a large distain for ink jet printers). The document feeder, scanner, and overall print quality are very good, and the ease of mobile printing is huge!I haven’t had to purchase new toner cartridges yet, still running on the ‘trial’ ones that come with it, but have been super happy with the purchase, and likely will continue to be moving forward (will update the review if that changes).

Like HP, Only Better
We needed to replace an aging HP multifunction device. HP now requires online accounts and their whole ecosystem seems unnecessarily intrusive, so I started looking for an alternative. Given that HP uses Canon print engines anyway, I thought that a Canon printer might be the way to go. I picked this one up on sale somewhere in the run-up to Prime Day, and it has worked flawlessly. I could’ve spent a few more dollars for the 1200 dpi version — and maybe I should have — but thus far this has been more than equal to our needs. Setup was easy and I’ve printed wirelessly from a variety of devices. Basically, the thing just works.

This printer is a tank. It has some real heft to it and it really delivers. Quick and easy setup out of the box, wifi connection was surprisingly painless on all 4 Windows 10 machines in our house. I read the reviews before pulling the trigger- it came as advertised. Good quality colour, good under multiple sheet loads, the bypass tray could be better designed but don’t print odd size paper that much- scanner has good clean detail pickup.

Muy facil de usar y gran articulo

I have had this printer for 2 months now and I am very pleased with the print quality both mono and color. I used Windows 10 to install the printer initially but the printer kept defaulting paper source to feeder instead of paper tray. Finally, I went to Canon website and downloaded the firmware and driver and the printer worked flawlessly. It is very easy to connect wirelessly. First page start up is a little slow and it is much noisier than my old Samsung and Brother lazer printers. Touch screen is responsive and the printer has a professional and sleek design that complements my office decor. Overall I am happy with this product.

Es una buena máquina, el único detalle es que es algo difícil de conseguir los consumibles, si lo hay son genérico y de mala calidad
