Great cooler if you know how to use it
First of all, I love this product!!! Now to give people some help. Just like any other refrigerator, thing done get cold once you put them in!! If ur planning a bbq or another outing, I recommend you put already cold/ freezer items in if u don’t have time to wait for it get items cold. Second, this item does not come with an internal battery, so if u do not purchase one, the cooler will not work if not plugged in. One other review did mention how hard it is to locate a batter for this item but like he said l, a similar model from BougieRV works just fine. The only issue is the price tag. Battery packs run approx $180 plus tax and shipping. I ordered one from BougieRv and found another used one on EBay for $75. Both work well.My cooler is currently plugged in inside of my gazebo and offers ice cold drinks on demand. Give this item a shot.

Great cooler for camping or swim meets. No battery is included.
We bought this mainly for our kids swim meets. I had to buy a battery pack from a 3rd party site but works perfectly. I already had a solar panel and it worked great with it. Comes with car adapter and standard 110 plug but out of the box it’s not really portable without the battery. We were able to keep ice cream/popsicles frozen in the freezer side and drinks cool on the fridge side. Not having to lug around ice gives you much more space. The weight is kinda a wash if you factor in the motor vs weight of ice. Only had it couple weeks but I’ll update as time goes on.

    Very disappointing
Box and product arrived damaged. Wanted to use this product in the park with kids. I allowed this product to sit for over 24 hours before plugging into a wall outlet. I turned it on and after 20 minutes or so it shut off. 20 minutes later it shut back on and continued to do this for hours, never reaching the preset temperatures. It’s useless. I hope they make this right asap.

    Excellent customer service.
I purchased this unit on a Sunday and had it by Wed. I was excited to add this to my van build as I have a trip next week. I need to carry my food and raw dogfood. I let the unit sit flat overnight as it was delivered wrong side up. When I plugged it in to my home, the led lights went on and I set the cooler part to 36 degrees and went to register it. (The cooler icon didn’t light up but I thought i would figure it out later.) I had some trouble uploading the purchase receipt and got excellent help from the chat person. Plus #1I waited a few hours but no cooling and no compressor kicking on. I checked my outlets and unplugged it for the rest of the day. When I turned it back on, it again it was receiving electricity but no compressor. I called the company thinking OH heck I probably made a huge mistake getting the less expensive fridge. I had to leave my number and email and was told I’d get a call back. I left them info on the compressor. They called a few hours later and I got an email letting me know they had gotten my call with the info I shared. The representative was very respectful asked me a few questions. Without any difficulty she said they would be sending me out another unit with info on returning the first. Gotta tell you that was the second good feeling I got from their support team.I’m waiting for the unit now so can’t tell you how it is functioning but I’m hopeful. Maybe the packaging needs some improvement since some reviewers have had problems too. I was a bit alarmed to see the price had dropped $50 on Amazon in 6 days. Now if I could get that money back I’d give them 5 stars.++

    Love it
With my Bluetti AC270 and an older Renogy suitcase style solar panel I’ve been able to keep food safe and beer cold for 3 months in sunny Arizona. I bought a used 5th wheel trailer with a fridge that only works when it feels like it, so my Newair has saved me yet again. My only complaint is that it is too easy to change temp settings by accident.

Temperature Control is a bit off
The quality of the unit seems fine, but the temperature control is way off. I’m unsure of where the temperature sensor is, but there is only one opening and each area has a slight open space to the other. It’s difficult to get one side at freezing and the other around 40F.Another thing I wish I had more information on is the optional battery. There seems to be a direct import for a solar panel to charge an internal battery. However, the battery pack is wicked expensive. Like $300.Overall… it’s a decent buy. I really like the pullout container so you can take everything out at once. I also like that it fits MANY beers. It’s great for parties. Solid 3+ to 4- stars.

    Well worth the money!!
I bought this unit based off reviews and research. I had it shipped to our campground where we were staying. We used it for two weeks and it did not let me down. It is great!! When we were done camping I plugged it into an outlet I have in the back of my truck and it kept everything cold the entire ride home. I cannot say enough good thing about this cooler.Next I am going to buy the battery pack. If u are in the market look no further than Newair.

Solar panel and battery sold separately
Nice cooler but the solar panel and battery are sold separately at 600 dollars. No internal battery so you have to keep it plugged in.
