Perfect!
The wings that came with my air conditioner have been missing for awhile and I needed something to replace them with. These work fantastically, and keep the cold air in my room. The adhesion is great, you get a perfect seal and it being adjustable to any window is wonderful.

Easy Replacement on Two ACs
I replaced the curtains on one AC using the old slides which were still in good shape. Easy to cut and fit. Be sure to add about a half inch extra. Stays in place and blocks the morning sun.The second AC’s slides and curtains went in the trash. Used the plastic channel with self stick tape after trimming with a hack saw. It was easy to apply to the AC case. Holds very well. Trimmed the foam to fit the height and width of my opening with about a half inch extra to provide tension to hold the foam in place. This only took about five minutes.Just be sure to take accurate measurements, add a bit extra and they work perfectly.I will be buying this again for my other Window ACs.Highly recommend.

Good Replacement for the Plastic Ones
Worked great at keeping the cold in and the hot out, also worked well on keeping the noise outside, far better than the usual A/C accordion style sides. Would still recommend an exterior covering that is weather proof however, these not not meant to get wet or deal with out-of-season events.

Just what I needed
This foam is great if you are looking to fill in some areas when you install your air conditioner. It is easier to cut but also quite large if you want to cover a bigger area. This is is worth buying if you are having issues covering up parts of your window with an AC.

It’s alright
One of the plastic channels arrived bent and unusable. Didn’t really matter because they were too tall for my AC unit anyway, so I removed them and pressed the foam in by itself. It definitely helps, but I can still feel a slight draft coming through. It’s better than nothing.

I need to fix the sides from the air conditioning system and this did the work stsbbled and blocked the sides as needed

Completely worthless
I tried to make this work for a couple of months and tried multiple different apppications and multiple trimmed sizes, and maybe its just my particular window frame but it’s just way too thin and even a slight breeze will blow it out of place since it depends upon friction to hold it. I could not get this to stay in place longer than a couple of days, and that was with me duct taping it.Even if I could get it to stay, I just don’t see any way at all for this to make a nice seal.Stuffing paper towels in between the frame and the window AC literally works 10x better. I guess my room is just going to be cold and drafty until I can figure out how to trim some wood to cover the empty space I guess, or maybe someone makes an actual *solid* solution.Just skip this and go for a *solid* surround if you can figure out how to make one or if you can find one, not some flimsy quarter inch thick piece of foam that you have to use magical powers to secure in place.

Easy to use
We have black window ac units and these fit right over the side panels and work great to seal the area. Leave it looking very clean cut.

You still need your side panel frames for these to work – this is not a full side panel replacement if you misplaced them or have broken the plastic exterior to your AC panels. Foam is good quality, however pictures are misleading.
