Solid replacement for those in need
I used a local repair company to diagnose my broken dryer, was tumbling but no heat. They said it was the heater core, and I could buy one from online and they would install it, same as if I bought one from a replacement part dealer. This saved a lot of money, and so far its been working great, about 4-5 months and I haven’t had an issue, but the repair guys definitely needed to come install it, everything has to be removed from the dryer to get to it.

For me, it worked on model FFQE5000QW0
I have a model FFQE5000QW0 – it was from Sam’s Club so from what it looks like while searching for parts, that was a model number just for them, and thus rarely listed in the common parts compatibility.I cannot vouch for anyone else, their exp, or express any kind of expert knowledge or anything – but I looked at this product, and the “compatible” product for FFQE5000QW0 on other websites that cost more – and everything “looked” the same, mostly I was concerned about its power etc. as I do not want a blaze… and the power / etc. listings were the same. For me this item fit FFQE5000QW0 model number just fine… and has been working great for a few weeks, and lots of make up washing (drying)Note, the push clips that go on the power and sensors for me were a little loose, and one came off after the 3rd load from vibration – so I had to open it back up (remove all power, duh), take off each push clip, press them in with needle nose pliers and then put it all back, and its been good to go since. This issue of course has nothing to do with this product, but is again just perhaps a helpful hint.

Simple replacement
Installed in minutes! It’s been a week and so far no problems. Honestly I was skeptical at first but everything lined up perfectly.

One load!
Installed the heater and it failed after the first load of cloths so I requested a return and ordered another brand. The other brand seems to be working like the factory installed one did. I am very disappointed in this product after 2hrs worth of work to install and then reinstall another one a couple days later. I guess practice makes prefect. Good luck if you decide to go with this brand because you will need it! I only gave it one star because I couldn’t give it zero!!

Well made
Very pleased with the quality. It was a bear to replace ,but it was better than spending $600.00 to $800.00 for a new dryer . My wife was told at the Appliance Store they didn’t make parts for our dryer anymore . So glad I checked on Amazon.

Worked and fit perfectly
After running some diagnostics on my Electrolux dryer I determined it was the heating element. Checked my normal parts sites and the part was over $200. Got this aftermarket unit at a 4th of the cost and it came with a replacement thermostat and thermal limiter, also it was next day with Prime. Everything went together just as the oem. The only complaint I have is the thermal limiter isn’t riveted to the mount, it’s pressed on, so when I had to disconnect the wire ferrule it came off the mount. I was able to get it pressed back in after some effort, but I recommend being very careful of you have to disconnect. Since I consider this part a bonus and I was able to use it and it did work, it’s still 5 stars for me.

Simple and quick install
Easy to replace. Took maybe an hour to break down, install and reassemble.

We have a Kenmore dryer from Sears (based on the heating element, it was made by Frigidaire), over 10 years old, but in top condition and with a stainless steal drum. And of course, in the middle of winter, with a full load of bed sheets, it started to stream cold air and the load never dried. We had to hang dry everything all over the house, and as my wife started looking online for a new dryer, I decided to open it, as I was almost sure it was the heating element (of which you cannot be entirely sure until you measure it with an ohmmeter). So I opened the top easy with only 2 screws in the back and sliding it backwards. Then I decided to go for the back panel; some 30 screws there and I had to disconnect the power line too to be able to remove it completely. Vacuumed about two sweaters of lint and I then was able to see the heating element. This is when I almost gave up: huge tube 13″ long and 5″ in diameter with wires and sensors attached and no way whatsoever to access it from where I was looking at it from the back.I went to YouTube to see how it’s done and even if no dryer like mine was there to see, I understood that in all cases you need to open the front to reach the element. So I got back to it and removed the front control panel (2 screws) and then the front panel with the door (6 screws) and also disconnected the wires for the light and the door switch. There were only a few screws on each but the screws are hidden and you have to understand how it’s all attached by sliding up before detaching. As soon as you get that, piece of cake.Vacuumed two more sweaters of lint again and then I saw there was still not enough place to access the heating element. So I had to remove the plastic manifold that connects the drum to the exhaust fan and it also includes the lint filter. Now I was able to access the element and remove it by removing the 3 holding screws and 6 electrical wires. I took some pics of the wires with my phone and I also made a wiring diagram just in case. There is a thermostat and a thermal fuse attached to the element and the wires are under heat and they were hard to remove, so one contact from the thermal fuse broke. I used an ohmmeter and confirmed the element is open circuit (it should be 0 or very close which means there is a point where it burned and it disconnected = DEAD).I then went to Amazon and checked for what’s available. I found a few options but I opted for this one even if it was not next day delivery, because it had better reviews for long term reliability and it came with both sensors, of which one I had no choice but to replace and the other I was thinking it’s a good idea to replace too if I already opened the machine.I placed the order on January 28 and they promised delivery on February 7 (my wife was not happy) but it was delivered February 3 (! very good !). The part was completely identical with the old element. The size, the holes for the screws and sensors, 100% compatible. I checked the new element with the ohmmeter and confirmed low resistance continuity = good to go.I installed the sensors, transferred the supporting and protection brackets from the old element to the new one, plugged the wires and installed the element in place. Everything fit.It took me about 2 more hours to reassemble the machine back. For the first load, I was holding my fingers, as I couldn’t believe it works, but it did!I waited another week to write this review. We did some 5-6 loads during this time and I have to say, the machine works very good, maybe even better than before (but that may be only me).Anyway, so far, so good: good seller delivery time, good part. Let’s hope this element will hold as well as the original.P.S. I noticed that in my machine the is a 10 minutes cool down at the end of the cycle where the machine streams cold air only and I guess this is happening in all the machines. This is not only good for the laundry, but also good for the heating element as it cools it down and I believe it will give it a longer life, so this cool down should not be interrupted.

There’s alot of disassembling that has to be done to replace this part. It’s good to clean the dryer of all the lint while it’s all open. The element seems to be a good perfect fit. I replaced it 3 months ago and it’s still working.

I waited a bit to write this to make sure it didn’t burn out right away. Fit was perfect and seems to work just fine.

With the aid of some youtube videos I was able to replace the heater in my dryer. It is up and going now for a few months. Shocked by some of the prices found on non-amazon sites for this.
