    great for learners
I’m learning Spanish and the course I am taking is quite good, but the instructor who is quite language-educating intuitivo, uses words common to his day job in San Diego – as a detective. So words such as criminal, illegal, información, judicial, social, formal, inmigración, traducción, cancelar, verificar, documentación, acción, ficción – you see where I’m going here. So his cognate tricks led me to this book, and (yo) puedo easily find, plug & play other words which help me in my world of an estudiante de espanol which is a not criminal, illegal, or in need of formal judicial proceedings. It’s very helpful whether one plans to travel or not. Also I imaginar estudiantes of inglés will find it as helpful. The book is divided into dos, the first half is English to Spanish, and the second half, Spanish to English. (El libro esta dividido en dos). Once I passed the 2nd lesson, I figured cop-speak may work in writing my ficción criminal y de acción (action/crime fiction) but no, not in Spanish. Again, this is bien for hobby learners or travelers, and second language learners. Grab your reading glasses and a magnifying glass. At the same time. The only problem I have is there is no guide to pronunciation.

Perfect for my son’s Spanish class
My son is taking Spanish this semester in college and needed a Spanish-English dictionary. This one is small without being too small to read, and it’s easy to find what he needs quickly for his assignments.

    Great for learning
Got this for my son to use during his first year of Spanish. It has helped him tremendously with the dual language translation. Small so it fits perfectly in his bag.

Smaller print if you are over 60! BUT seems pretty comprehensive
I am in my 3rd month of Spanish (through Duolingo) so I have a LOT to learn. I spend minimum an hour and many times more. I really am trying. But, I needed a dictionary of “words”, “nouns”. I already have books for Verbs. I’m pretty sure this little book (thick but short w/ small print) will be a big assist for random words *I* want to know that I have not yet learned in my Duolingo course. I’d give it 5 stars but the PRINT IS SMALL, people. Keep your bi-focals on when you’re using it 🙂 Definitely worth having in your arsenal.
