Easy Setup, Works Well
It was easy to set up to wirelessly connect to my PC and Android phone. Smooth document feed. Software worked well, but a desktop shortcut wasn’t automatically created on the PC; no issues on Android mobile. Scans are crisp. The size is nice and small for portability, if needed. Charged quickly.

Man, why did I not buy this before!!
This little thing is awesome if you are like me. If you, like me, keep all paperwork from doctor visits or mechanic or other various paperwork you will want this. I took years of statements and scanned them all relatively quickly with its quick feeding and short time per scan. I knew that once I scanned all my papers I would not need a bulky machine for some time so this little thing was awesome to do the job and then easily be put away for later. And when I did need it again I would simply take it out and plug it in and be scanning in less than a minute.Keep in mind what your needs are though. If you are in a office and scan tons of things daily, you may want to upgrade to another unit which will be in place all the time and not put away. This does not have a feeder so you are feeding each sheet by hand. Yes it would have been nice to have the feeder for my initial usage of some 200+ pieces of paper but after that initial run it would have been useless for me doing one or two pages here and there. It scans very nicely but limited in what you scan, this is more for printed receipts and or other paperwork compared to perhaps scanning old pictures. It does a great job at centering the images and can easily do continuous scanning of pages into one large PDF or multiple images, but it is also only one side so you need to flip the page but it is happy just scanning page after page. The software could be better, more options but it gets the job done with little flair but consistent and reliable.

Small, but awesome
My wife is retiring from the Navy after 20 years, and she asked me to scan her medical records into files that can be sent to the VA. I have a scanner built into our printer at home, but if I had to toss a guess out, I would say each page on that thing would be about 20-25 seconds to scan. She has 5 volumes of medical records… That’s not happening. I’d considered contracting out this work as there are companies that will take the medical records, scan and index them, but I decided this scanner should work and provided at least some of the features the contract company was offering. The software is pretty easy to set up, and it’s not difficult at all to get it connected to a wireless network. I admittedly don’t know if it would work without being connected to my PC, but as I was doing A LOT of scanning I kept it hooked up to keep the battery charged. So far, I’ve scanned about 3/5 of her records, which took me about 4 hours.I’m very happy with the quality of the scans, and the software which allows saving the pages as searchable PDF files. I think my only gripe would be that once you save all the files, the page with all the scans closes. I’m not sure if those scans are saved on my PC anywhere, and haven’t really had the time to dig into it (for instance, if I wanted to go back and save parts of volumes without having to rescan the pages). It’s something I will look into.I also scanned a few long receipts, as that’s a future use I wanted the scanner for, and it worked well enough. It’s a little difficult to keep them feeding straight if they’re REALLY long, but it’s not a deal breaker.Pros: Ease of use, good software, very fast when compared to a traditional scanner you’d find on a household all-in-one printer.Cons: Not exactly sure if scans are saved individually, and the charge did run down to half even while hooked to my PC during scanning. But I was doing A LOT of scanning over and over again, so probably wouldn’t be an issue except for VERY heavy use.Overall very satisfied with the scanner.

Doesn’t work, appears used
I may have received a defective item that was previously returned. I did NOT purchase a used item… I purchased new. It arrived with signs of having been previously opened, including double tape on all packaging and fingerprints on the scanner itself. I waited 36 days to receive it after ordering, so I figured I’d give it a try before sending it back and waiting another month for a replacement.I’ve been struggling to get this thing connected and working for several hours now, with no luck. I’ve used numerous printers and scanners over the years, at home and in the office. I’ve even worked with large, complicated multifunctional machines as an administrative assistant for two large state agencies. I’m usually pretty good at installing drivers and using this type of hardware with no issues, so I don’t think it’s user error. It appears to connect and everything looks good… it even grabs a sheet when I insert it. But the scan button is completely unresponsive. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times, restarted we writing several times, and still nothing. So after waiting all this time, now I’m going to have to return it anyway. Needless to say, I’m not impressed!

Just get it today and done some test and I’m really happy with my new scanner ! Installation was a breeze. I bough that scanner to be able to scan with my Android Tablet and PC. Took 2 minuts to install for Android and I was ready to scan. Installed the app, then it was easy with WPS, 1 push of a button on the router and one push on a button on the scanner, and boom, that thing was paired and ready to scan ! Wow. The quality is really good ! Even if you can only set it at 300 dpi on the wifi… For better quality (1200 dpi) you need to be connected to computer, but that’s not an issue at all for me. Took a little longer to install on windows PC, but again, all is perfect and the process was really easy !
