Powerful and efficient
I use this kind of vacuum in an Airbnb, and I was amazed at how well it worked. My kids and I have some dust allergies, so I have to keep the house clean to avoid an episode. This vacuum leaves the carpet very clean; you can’t imagine how much dust and other stuff are there! and helps a lot in the hard floor too. I read before the comments because this was offered as refurbished, and the price was 1/3 of the new one, so I decided to give it a try, best decision! It is very powerful, it is very easy to discard the garbage, and has other accessories to compliment, like the brush for sofas, and the plastic canula for small spaces as beside the refrigerator. I had a Shark before, years ago, and in despite of some damages in the plastic for the environment, it is still working well. Shark is a really good brand and very durable. recommended!

Easy to assemble and use.
Just received this Shark UV730 sweeper. Took no time to put together. I really like the heavy duty long electric cord. My house is an open floor plan, and this cord easily took care of the dinning, office, living areas and a long hallway. Nice. I was amazed at the amount of pet hair and dirt it picked up when used in only 2 primary areas. I like it’s light weight and easy swivel of the base and I’m pretty sure I will make good use of the Lift-Away mode with and without the attachments. Emptying the dust cup was easy and efficient. I think this is a good purchase.

Works great
Works just as well as there others I have at work that were brand new. Did not come with the little adapter side-clip (which only holds one of the two adapters anyhow). No big deal – but I took off a star for that. I would really only take a 1/2 of a star for that if I could since it is a convenience. For the price this is awesome and way below brand new and works just as well. Cleans great, great power, and easy to use.

This was a great buy!
I love that I got such a big discount for buying something refurbished. Because this vacuum works and looks brand new! Shark is my go to brand of floor cleaner’s, the power suction cannot be beat, plus a self cleaning brush roll means no more pulling hair off the brush roll. It was exactly what I expected from reading all the details. Definitely a great buy!

great little vacuum
I love this vacuum. It is very powerful. I have a $300 Dyson that can’t hold a candle to this vacuum. The Navigator is so light weight. The vacuum suction is very strong. I had to empty the cannister several times on my first floor. It is easy to operate and to dump the debris. The attachments are easy to use. I would purchase this again. My neighbor recommended this vacuum to me.

Shark is the best
I bought this because my daughter ruined my other perfectly fine Shark vacuum by vacuuming up dog pee out of the carpet. (Long story, she’s little and was just trying to help but I still wanted to kill her) I was so frustrated because I paid a lot for my Shark and it worked so well. I was a little uneasy about buying a refurbished anything because I haven’t had good luck with them in the past. But the price was just too good to pass up. I’m so happy I did. I waited months before posting a review to ensure the refurbished model would last. It’s the best Shark I’ve ever owned. The suction on this model is better than any other vacuum I’ve ever owned. You will love it.

Good but NO place for normal attachments on unit – what are you supposed to do with them?
Very similar to my old Navigator Professional but more cheaply made and that is saying something. good – great price on refurbished, came like new. Works fine. The bad – nowhere to put the accessories (wand and brush) – WTF – I’m supposed to carry them around with me? Original manual for UV730 series at Shark shows it with an installed accessory holder but this one (UV730 V5) doesn’t even seem to have anywhere/way to put one on. Shark web site shows accessory holder as an option for this series, but out of stock and doesn’t seem it would fit either. maybe that’s why these are all refurbished – folk buy it new, find out no place for tools and return it?Powerfin rollers did not retain any hair (which is why I wanted this one, my old shark clogs up very easily need razor blade to clear!) BUT they look like the rubber vane will wear out VERY quickly, and the bristles are very short and there aren’t any in the center of the roller. And I can’t find any replacement for a part that looks like it should be replaced (and manual doesn’t say if/how to do it!) so looks like I’ll use this until they wear down and then trash it? Hope the hoses hold up better than my old Shark – it is mostly duct tape now.
