    Can’t really mess with perfection
I used this phone on its launch, like any other LG phone I’d had. I put that phone through hell, repaired it a couple times myself, but generally didn’t think much about it. I hadn’t realized how much I had gotten used to the solid usability and quality of LG’s phones until they decided to stop making them. When that happened, I thought I NEEDED to move to a different phone. So, I jumped to a Google Pixel 7, thinking I’d never look back. That was two years ago. Here I am, clawing back to this outdated, obsolete phone. It is maxed out at Android 12. And you know what? It still kicks most modern phones where it hurts. The screen, the features, the connectivity, all of it were cutting edge five years ago, but now it’s just a well rounded, fast, solid phone.I’ve had this misfortune of needing to switch from my Pixel 7, which suffered water damage from an amount of water this phone would LAUGH at, to a Motorola moto g 5G, which is like a brand new Versa versus this thing’s 5-year-old GTR. There’s…just no comparison. The old talking points still apply. The camera, though obsolete by certain standards, is still masterfully detailed and very fast despite taking VERY large-sized pictures. The compute power is no longer top contender material, but it runs everything still, even more modern mobile games. Quad DAC and 3.5mm port, so audio is STILL STILL STILL in a class of its own! IN 2025!!! Phone manufacturers, what are you doing?? This phone wasn’t even top 5 most expensive when it came out, and they STILL had a high end DAC in it?!Most everything else is what you’d expect: 5G and WIFI6, NFC and wireless charging, USB-C rapid charging, a MicroSD slot, 128GB of storage which is a little underwhelming these days but serviceable, and still receiving Google Play updates at least. Just know, this will be officially end of life for support next year, so definitely weigh that out with the price. It was an easy choice for me, may not be for you. Just know, this phone is solid, and will serve you well.

A great phone, misrepresented (with an update).
My original review follows, but I need to update with some new info.I more or less like this phone. There are some issues, but what phone doesn’t have some issues? The main problem here is that they don’t tell you it can’t be updated. It comes with Android 10. They’re now releasing updates for Android 12 for this phone. Android 11 came out a while ago. So why is my phone still Android 10? Because these unlocked phones CAN’T BE UPDATED. When I bought this it said it was an unlocked T-Mobile phone. And T-Mobile is what I use, but it’s in fact an AT&T version that was unlocked, and it works on T-Mobile. But it’s not a T-Mobile phone. To get the updates, you have to be using the carrier the phone was made for, not whatever other carrier you might use. So I can’t get it from T-Mobile (not their phone) and I can’t get it from AT&T (not my carrier), and it can’t be gotten directly from LG (according to LG themselves). Which means, even though LG is still supporting their phones and giving Android updates (we’re supposed to get Android 13 too when it’s available), if you get this phone you better be using the carrier it was made for or no updates for you, and that kinds defeats the whole purpose of getting an unlocked phone. They don’t tell you this. Nowhere did this page reveal that information that I could see, and I think I read everything. It’s dishonest and just bad business. So now I have this phone I can’t update at all? You better believe I’ll discourage everyone who will listen to not buy this (or any) “unlocked” phone here.Review for “LG V60 ThinQ 5G 128GB Android Smartphone LM-V600TM (Renewed)…”I’d been looking at this phone for a while, and finding it renewed at a great price was a nice surprise. So I took the plunge. What sealed it for me is that it’s advertised as a T-Mobile phone (with the T-Mobile product number), and I use T-Mobile. Since all versions of this phone are carrier-specific, I figured if I had to have some bloatware it might as well be relevant for me. And this was a much cheaper option that getting it new from T-Mobile. What I received was an AT&T phone, filled with lots of AT&T software that doesn’t work on T-Mobile and can’t be removed. The phone itself works fine with T-Mobile, but I’ve had to download software for messaging and voicemail from T-Mobile and set those as defaults, and hide the AT&T software icons since they can’t be completely removed. The phone itself so far is as good as all the reviews that are already out there, so this review is more about the company selling it. Except for very light wear on the corners that’s hardly noticeable even without a case over them, it seems to be in perfect condition. Really no complaints about anything but the carrier issue, and even with that headache this was a worthwhile bargain and still gets them 4 stars. I’d buy from them again, but I’d make sure everything’s accurate from the seller before buying.

  3. Excelente estado
